I get that and appreciate it. It's just that he's on the Celtics which is the lakers biggest rival and the biggest rivalry in the sport. Red Sox's players shouldn't be wearing Yankee's inspired stuff. It under plays the rivalry that was there before the player and will still be there after.

I'm a neutral fan but I find Jayson Tatum's Kobe references borderline cringe but still on the acceptable side. You can say he goes overboard wearing the exact outfit Kobe did when working out with the Cs back in '96 and wearing the purple and gold 24 armband with the Celtics green is somewhat an eyesore, but you can also say he wants to honor Kobe at least on him.

I think Jasum Tatum lost he's own identity with the passing of Kobe I mean all he does is for kobe he respect and idolize him and that not bad. But he still need to be himself on the court.
