The environment is extremely important, we live in a circular society, water in the ground ends up in our water supply and food we eat relies on our clean water supply. Bilt Hamber are leading the way whilst producing some amazing products. (I might be a little bias because they are one of my favourites). Jon's testing always gives you a feel of what a product is doing and he should be BH's product champion 🏆. Great video Pan, I liked the deeper dive into the chemical makeup, its important to share and make the scene informed. Also, 5ltr is now available on the UK website, select the 1ltr and then you can change the drop down box to change the size.

Bilt Hamber just make quality products all round. They are my go to brand for pre-wash and wash. I don’t use anything other than Touch-less for pre-wash. Their APC Surfex-HD is also ridiculously good value and a 5 litre bottle lasts a very long time. Korrosol, Auto-wash and Auto-wheel are always on my detailing shelf too. Top notch stuff! 👍🏻

I am very pleased with the original formula-bought a $30 usb-C rechargeable foam bottle on Ali and used the product to foam my car then rinse at self-serve car wash bay all winter to minimize dirt for proper washing at home.

I've not tried that step over the winter but was using a citrus prewash on the lower panels along with a wheel cleaner just to keep the worst of the muck off it .... The car was coated in Fusso Soft Coat Wax so had a good protection on it

I think you should also look at their Touch-on shampoo to complete the Touch-less system. I think Touch-on is amazing. It reproduces a just ceramic coating glow afterwards. You don't need to use a drying aid or towel dry if you're using it in a snowfoamer AND using DI water and then blow dry- if you can. 👌
@PanTheOrganizer Wow, it's a little expensive in the US. Here it's £1.19 a sachet. At least you guys get 10% off if you buy 10. You only need to use it once every 2-3 weeks as it's durable even if you wash it with another shampoo. I like to use Carpro Reset, then snowfoam this on afterwards, a very light wash over with your mitt (as you've already done this step) because it really boosts the water beadage and its very durable (3-4 monthsive tested it at, using my method). It's similar to Gyeon wet coat but leaves a warm glossy glow ✨️ I'm surprised you've not shown this on the channel. Have you tried it? And tried my method too? 🙂

Hi, I am in the UK and have just started using BH touchless over the past few months. I notice that the cars used in your videos tend to be in pristine or nearly pristine condition. The only thing I wish is that you would address the issues those of us in the real world have to deal with and provide tips and tricks for the average vehicle. For example, what to do with deteriorating clear coat, or worn leather, upholstery and carpet, or rust around wheel wells and door sills. These are real issues that I come across almost daily. Would love to see them have a US distributor very soon again Jack from Bilt Hamber said it’s in the works and should be very soon sure the prices won’t be UK prices but the ability to buy it in the US might cut the cost a little. I have ordered 5 litres of the new Touch-Less, which is due to be delivered in the next few days. If it performs as well as the Auto-Foam at effectively half the price, I'll be very satisfied. (The 5 litre bottle is available in Europe now.) In Cyprus, we have a Mediterranean climate similar to California but hotter in the summer reaching 38-40 degrees on occasions. We only get snow in the mountains and I've not known it freeze at sea level in the 22 years I've lived here. What a lot of people don’t understand is the prep of the paint work and that using this snow foam and it’s performance will very greatly, depending on how hydrophobic the surface is.
@PanTheOrganizer9 ай бұрын
It is the best a pre-cleaning surfaces, period. I haven't found a snow foam that has better cleaning abilities yet, and my findings are in line with other reputable detailing channels like Forensic Detailing Channel. A proper and effective snow foam will remove a lot of the loose dirt, grime, and road film before you do that contact wash. It helps preventing marring on the surface. And that's regardless of if you have a ceramic coating or not on the surface.

I was just thinking this would be a great niche market if they came out with something like Johnson's scrubbing bubbles for bathrooms lol! So I'm still on the fence as to applying no pressure from the water hose over the car to wet it first and soften the dirt then foam it that would be a good test to see which comes cleaner. Not sure if there's some kind of dirt gauge available to do the test lol!

Great review Pan! I live in the Uk and there’s a battle over BH and everyone else haha. I’ve finished my version 1 of touchless and thought I would try something new. Nothing impressed me as much. It’s really nice that they released it with different concentrations as it’s even more cost effective. It used to amaze me when I accidentally would spill some on my drive, it changed the colour of that spot to a brownish one, almost how your tyres change when you prewash them. So anything it touched it would react straight away to clean it. Think it’s an interest thing to mention. You should review Traceless their new glass cleaner!

Auto Foam certainly ended the remaining life on my car’s 2yo Xpel Ceramic Coating after about 4 washes over 8 weeks. I believe the coating was already near its end of life, but in my observation the AF accelerated its demise. I love the effectivity of the product, but now fear using it on my car once I get my new coating installed. I would hate to spend all that money just to have the new coating lifespan diminished. However, for anyone not concerned about coatings this is the best cleaning foam I have ever experienced

Something I do to be as efficient as possible. I will first spray my wheels/tires with a wheel/tire cleaner. Then I will foam the entire vehicle car with Touch-Less including the wheels. While it is soaking on the paint, I go around and clean the tires and wheels. I feel the touch-less with a wheel/tire clean work great for both cleaning power and lubrication. Then by the time I'm done, the touch-less is ready to be pressure washed off. Yes you got to make sure you are in the shade and work quickly, but its better than standing around waiting for it to soak. That all said if the car is coated you certainly don't want to leave it on too long. Ceramic coating it will be fine, but topper coating can take a hit.

Your experience, knowledge and trustful feedback makes your feedback my #1 to go, whenever I wanted to find a honest and sincere opinion. Just a quick question about the "next steps" after BT Touches. Which of these would be your #1 pick for contact wash - KC SF, DiY Incredible Suds or DiY Rinseless ? I've seen your videos about them and they are great but what would be your first pick. I would be using a wash mitt (those that you recommended). Thank you so much! Took a break from detailing since I wasn't using my cars much lately but now I'm back just to realise that my foam from Autobrite is almost finished. Been searching for a new foam brand just out of curiosity so first thing I did was to see what Pan's been cooking since last time I watched his videos just to find this review. In Europe the price for 5L is 38.85$ while Autobrite is 69$ for the same quantity. You also need more product per 1L of water if you are using Autobrite. Don't get me wrong, Autobrite does one hell of a job cleaning unprotected cars or mostly protected but after seeing this video and reading lots of feedback from users this one seems to be doing the same job but cheaper.

I have said this many times in many videos. I wouldn't use this for regular weekly washes. I stick to pH neutral soaps for weekly washes, as I wash my car twice weekly. I use these higher alkaline soaps once in a while, if the car is super dirty, or when I want a deeper cleaning to remove as much grime and road film as possible before the contact wash.

How you doing? What’s the difference between Touch less and auto foam and can touch less be used in combination with auto foam or vice verse? Which one is safe for daily wash on coated cars? Thank you once again
@PanTheOrganizer7 ай бұрын
Auto-Foam is pH 13 and the new Touch-Less is pH 10.5 They are different formulations, and some do better is some climates against specific type of dirt and road film according to the Bilt Hamber chemist and CEO. Here's the chemist's detailed answer when I asked him: "Roads are not predictable nor uniform in the substances which they contribute to the deposits or dirt films they produce. The dirt transferred from the roadways to cars (often along with moisture from the surface of the roadway) changes with the seasons. Changes, for example, in the compositions of the road surface contaminants transferred to vehicles occur during the winter, when anti-freeze materials (e.g., salt, pumice, organic solvents such as ethylene glycol from anti-freeze solutions, sand) are regularly applied to the roadways or used in screen washes. The salt used on roadways may contain mineral oils, clay soil or vegetable oils as an additive. Less obvious roadway contaminants may appear where agricultural materials used on fields in the spring and summer run onto the road surfaces. Incompletely burned hydrocarbons, leaking vehicle fluids, and spills also contribute to the mix of road dirt which can be transferred onto vehicles. This vast variation in possible materials which may accumulate on cars is also complicated by the fact that soil compositions vary from region to region. Withstanding these complexities, it’s simply not possible to formulate one product that is optimized for every condition, season, or geographical location (which influences the road film) and we therefore produce both Touch-Less and Auto-Foam, and really only a trial would find which would work better in each situation. However as their properties are quite different if a user has both he should have most conditions covered for the year."

I'm confused, @PanTheOrganizer - Why would I use this instead of, let's say, Trutle Wax Pure Wash or Meguiars Hyper Wash in a foam cannon before doing a contact wash? When would you pick one over the other?
@PanTheOrganizer4 ай бұрын
For regular weekly washes, a pH neutral like the TW Pure Wash is all you need. But every now and then, for a deeper cleaning and removal of grime and road film, a higher pH snow foam is a great option. That's when you use things like Bilt Hamber, or CarPro Lift for example.
@stevef21149 ай бұрын
cool glad to see you are now using these products from BH.... original is 4% pir always. i find this is more useful in a pump sprayer. Always on a dry car for this product. The original is not an every day washing product though... it wipes protection off very easily.... i disagree with Pete sorry. Ive been using this for 3 years... if you prewash with it, and then use it again as a lubricant for your hand wash, ive found its almost wipes off various wax based products ive used. With Ceramic maybe very different... ive not got experience with ceramic to say. I dont have a blower, so cant exactly do a hands off/touchless wash as shown in this vid. I would never leave water on the car, being in such a hard water area. How does this compare to KC Sff ?
@PanTheOrganizer9 ай бұрын
I have been using Bilt Hamber products for a few years now... But I agree with you that I wouldn't use these higher pH soaps for regular weekly washes. I stick to pH neutral to wash my car twice weekly. Although it's quite safe to use at a lower PIR on ceramic coated cars weekly, as coatings have a much higher resistance to chemicals compared to regular waxes or sealants. But even then, I keep the higher pH snow foams for once in a while when the car is super dirty or for a deeper cleaning to remove grime and road film, like at the beginning of spring to remove that winter muck.

Hi Pam, is this safe with your ceramic coating, and do you recomend something after washing, like elixir or other quick detailer to protect your coating after washing?
@PanTheOrganizer9 ай бұрын
Who’s Pam? 😂 I’m Pan. ;) You wouldn’t use this for every regular weekly wash. Once in a while for a deeper clean and yes it’s safe on coated cars. My car is coated. Once you are done pre-washing with the BH snow foam, you rinse and you wash with your normal car soap as per usual. And at the end of your wash process, if you are towel drying your paint, then yes it’s always recommended to use a quick detailer or drying aid as a lubricant to minimize the chances of marring the paint.

You would never just use a pre-wash snow foam alone, without following up with a contact wash. A pre-wash only removes 80-85% of the dirt. To get 100% clean results, you must follow up with a contact wash with a car shampoo and microfiber wash mitt.

Great review, and just what i was looking for! Sometimes i wonder, what would the detailing community do without your channel :-) I just recently applied the Gyeon EVO pure coating which is claimed to have a resistance of up to PH 11. Do you think i can use BH touchless at 0,5% PIR for maintanance washes without damaging the coating? I dont really want to buy a dedicated PH netural foam. I like the peace of mind when using a higher alkaline soap, knowing that it removes a little more dirt.
@PanTheOrganizer6 ай бұрын
Yes at that lower concentration it should be fine. I would only use 2% PIR once in a while for deeper cleanings, but 0.5% for regular washes is ok if you have a good coating like the Pure EVO.

Does anyone have a suggestion on the proper mixing in a Marolex Axel 2000 Pressure Foamer or would you avoid these hand held devices when using the Bilt Hamber Touch-less snow foam? I am in Southern California and try my best to use a little water as possible and bring deionized and R/O water from my lab to rinse so I don't get spotting. Our water is incredibly hard here.
@PanTheOrganizer5 ай бұрын
Your best bet would be to reach out to Bilt Hamber and ask them. Most people using the BH use a foam cannon and pressure washer, and you have to follow the precise instructions on how to calculate the PIR for your specific setup. No two setups are the same, so you can't use someone else's dilution numbers.
