nah, not recommended for anyone, wasting of time to farm it around 2-10 hours. just buy cheap trenchant recover + attunement in Trade market will be better for around 2-3k golds

To every1 saying trenchant recovery is better. yeah, it is. But this weapon also have Lifestealing and Enchanted(more damage means more health back). So, after all I think it's pretty close. That said, I use a GS with trenchant recovery with Leeching Crosscut on one piece of my appereal so, two birds with one stone lol

Guys, indeed Trenchant Recovery is better, BUT this is the best legendary “healing” sword you can get for free and rather easy / quick. Hybris is better but you can’t solo that and you also need to have Starstone in the mutation rotation. Hybris also drops in 8+ M levels if I remember and that means a player that has a full ward set for M8+ could also afford crafting / buying an even better sword than Hybris if he wanted. Personaly, I have 2.5m gold and I still use Bloodsucker’s in open world PvE daily 😊

Sorry this is wrong no offence. Trenchant recovery plus any added damage 100g epic from the Trade Post. Although as a side note they stealth nerfed it a few days ago, it used to heal on every hit so if you had a clump of mobs around you it would heal for every mob hit. Now it only heals once per swing. People moaning as they realise but it's still good sustain.

Trenchant Recovery is way better.. u only heal with final hit from crosscut so u can easily get killed inbetween 1 and 2 hit... trenchant recovery heals you with each charged hevy attack... (this is for pve... i dont know bout pvp.. but i think its the same)

I’ve got to agree and I don’t use crosscut or the follow up attack for the skyward slash because they are just super long animations that do less dps in any situation than fully charged heavies will I tested it for a while

I see lots of people saying other stuff heals more. Can someone name a named GS or something I can buy? I did a lot playing solo with hatched. And not sure what gear to use. So far I'm using corrupted from tempest quest but I'm so lost .

So to my knowledge there is no named GS you can buy. I'm not sure the extent of your knowledge so I'll assume nothing. Most people are referring to trenchant recovery which is a perk for the GS. At this point the only named GS with that perk is Hybris, but that is one you'd have to run mutated Startstone Barrows to get. Do yourself a favor and just search for either a Greatsword or Hammer that has trenchant recovery on it from the trading post. You can search by perk, there are videos on that. IMHO hammer is better for solo play for it's CC and you don't take 15% more damage to dish out more dps. I solo level 65 Major portals with a hammer (it's not named just a crafted Orichalcum hammer) and some corrupted ward gear, got some videos on that in my channel.

Hybris is much better IMO, it drops in startstone m9+ final boss. It can be a grind to get, you can get it by crafting it with materia though.

Dumb weapon need a major nerf how can a big ass sword move as fast as a rapier ? Heavy attack is Soo Soo fast and all the ability move like rapier fast !!! Is too strong I think the damage can remains but the animation need to redo.

@@fojo618 the sword you are writing about is not a bad sword but a epic 590+ greatsword with TR and one other perk is cheap and will give you much better sustainability. Unfortunately there are few legendary great swords with Trenchant Recovery listed on New World database.

The sword itself is pretty ass to be honest. Trenchant recovery does a lot more healing. I noticed that your dex is not 50. You are missing out on crits, which in turn also lessens your healing.

I like to run literally any other wep than this cheesy shite. It looks horrible and is the unironic backbone of every dogshit PvPer. When they inevitably nurf the shit out of it over the next 12 weeks, all the people who relied on it are going to complain that 'people couldnt handle how much they won with it' . I dont think its good advice to direct people towards GS this late in the loop, its heavily considered unbalanced and projected in Dev notes as on the list to be changed. Also- A "Bruiser" is GA/WH and nothing else.

Thank you for the correction I have heard bruiser referred to several weapon combos but I will make sure to correct myself from now on. And I agree the bloodsucker's sword should definitely be balanced alongside GS in general they are very strong. Hopefully they do some balancing soon.

@@fojo618 Yeah Bruiser does get thrown around a lot, but in War if you are placed asa bruiser you have to be on GA/WH. its 300 Str 210 Con. I call GS/Hatchet a Brawler..
