I do tank with a Greatsword and a Flail, I recently did gorgons and it wasn't a hard time really, I use the flail to get the easy stamina and the extra life points, it works wonders.

I’ve been liking greatsword with lifestaff for a solo build. The healing from greatsword and life staff combined with a more defensive greatsword build is really interesting to me. 200 into strength and dex with 150 into focus and 50 or more Con with a Con food.

@@ard-janlubbers I don't really remember, I know it involved the heavy attack automatically blocking attacks and I usually took the auto crit with one onslaught skill and 2 defensive skills so that I was in defensive stance most of the time and blocking automatically when doing heavy attacks.

The pure tank and healing problem for MMOs never really solved. I wish Cleric flail counted as healer for Expeditions, but nope you are forced life staff

With the changes to the skill trees, how do you recommend the set up now? They seem to have moved two skills for every class that changed which skill could be accessed with the first point. Calamity counter is no longer available until the second point now. The first passives are pretty bad as well, almost forcing us into taking roaring rupture.

Yeah prolly. I don't know if it's a bug but something when I'm in heavy armor and taking lots of damage I dodge and I do a roll instead of what should be a heavy dodge

I'm doubting between those three weapons too, all of them looks fun to me. I played spear before and I liked it. I would probably go for Spear/GS for CC and AOE. The only thing is that you have to mix between Str And Dex. Would be awesome to be able to carry the 3 weapons haha

Gs with spear is actually imsane and the debuff spear has for the damage on bosses make it nice because gs users are squishy so compliments well and deals massive damage

Hello, I assumed that you should wear heavy armor for the greatsword but now I see that you are wearing medium armor for the build. Should i Change my Armor to middle armor?

I dont understand how people go light and fight close in pvp combat. I did a quick build with light gear that had absorbing damage types and stuff. But i still got wrecked. Also maybe this is just personal preference but i find GS to just not be that great for pvp. It has good abilities and that but GA has abilities that let you close distance to enemy which is pretty major for me. I main heavy, sns and ga. So everyone is always trying to run. Maybe GS is better for light armor? Idk. Also although it has bleeds, GA has better raw base damage cause its scales 100% with strength. But GS if you want it to get close to the same amount you have to go into dex as well. Or maybe im completely wrong about it i dont know. I gave it a go and i just found GA not only suited me better but it just performed better for pvp

hmm with me the greatsword should have 3 perks, trenchant strike, trenchant crit and trenchant recovery, all of these perk will help me a lot while solo and i can replace the bloodrinker for other ring to increase more dame or more tankier and still have good dame
