I feel like the boom designs work on Amy and tails cause they fit their personality, knuckles makes me feel uncomfortable and for sonic, I will admit that he’a more expressive but that’s it I don’t like the design of boom sonic. Eggman is 50/50, on the 1 hand it feels like Eggman but on the other it doesn’t. In terms of personality I feel like almost all of them say for Eggman and Knuckles defines or improves on the original characters. I would prefer Eggman to smart, sinister , and serious (like the unleashed version and sometimes forces Eggman) rather than a Saturday morning cartoon villain and I would prefer knuckles to be Sonic X knuckles, not giving any fucks until he has to fight or gets angry.

@@FlyingDuckMan360 I mean, it's probably what's gonna happen at this point, we've got so much TTG oversaturation at this point that it's just kinda sad. The show would've honestly not have bugged me so much if it was a show with a normal airtime but they just had to push it so much that it has run for so long and for so much of the time that it has 6 seasons,2 movies, andway too many specials and counting. Infinity Train got shafted to Max and so did Summer Camp Island, the continuation of AT has fully been on there, and I'm sure Mao Mao will make it onto there for the majority of its time running too with how little CN has pushed the show. HBO Max is probably the future of CN shows that CN regularly doesn't push as much. I only hope that that means that OK KO can get a revival there since they did revive AT and give a continuation to SU (probably unlikely though since CN refuses to admit that they cancelled the show and that the show is actually over).

@@geoffreyrichards6079 In the episode "Eggman's brother" they reference Ken's illogical restriction that no Sonic characters can have any type of relative because he wrote so many for them already in the comics. Morpho makes a joke about this by saying he isn't really Eggman's brother as he said earlier and then goes on for a few seconds explaining how he isn't related to anyone at all (kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKPHgoGtr8-YiJY you can see it here at 8:27). It's kinda subtle and you'd only notice it if you already knew about it, but considering the Boom comic also made fun of him by making Knuckles wear a bunch of hats (Ken also said characters weren't allowed to have accessories, or something along those lines, but he only said Knuckles wasn't allowed to wear "A" hat, not "multiple at once", so they used a loophole to get around that) then it wouldn't be too far-fetched to think it's also a reference.

*WARNING: this comment is a very long passionite rambling about the Sonic Boom subset franchise and how it can actually be brought back. Enjoy I guess!* Sonic Boom deserved better. It really did. It's a DAMN SHAME that the two prequel games overshadowed the Archie book and especially the TV show due to their poor reception. If you look at Boom as a hole, it's really not that bad at all; half of what it offers is good (TV Show, Archie book, Fire and Ice, Dash 2), the other half. . .wellyougettheidea. I argue that most of what Boom offered was rock solid, and was slowly improving over time when it was still active. Season 2 of the show is where Boom was indeed really starting to find its footing. I mean for fuck sake, the show actually was nominated a good few time and won some awards because of how good it is; depite the piss poor treament from Cartoon Network (which I'll never forgive them for that) in the U.S, it was actually doing really well in other countries, so why stop here?!? Why stop a show that (I can safely say) most Sonic fans adore?! It was honestly a mistake that SEGA put the show on Cartoon Network, a channel at the time that really only cared about that one show that I will not name because it's been talked about to death. . .and they still to a degree. Sonic Boom still has so much untapped potential. . .and I really want it to reach that potential. It has proven that it can improve. . .and it can get even better if it comes back. . .which there is a possibility that it will: 10:14 Here's the thing about Bill Frieburger; yes, the people behind the show has indeed disbanded. HOWEVER. Bill Frieburger actually did state that even though they're no longer involved with Boom, that DOESN'T mean they won't be back for a 3rd season and beyond. So. . .there's that. With that in mind, there's is a possibility to bring it back. How? . . .the recent DVD and digital releases of the show. Sonic Boom now has two DVDs out currently (and possibly more that we don't know of yet), and is also available in its entirety digitally on iTunes and Amazon. If guys want to see Boom come back as much as I do, speak with your wallet and GO BUY THESE RIGHT NOW! It worked with Family Guy, it could work here. Not saying that it's a 100% guarantee that this will work, but it's worth a shot, and really. . .you never really know with the Sonic franchise; it's unpredictable at this point. I would love to see more come out of Boom, not just the show. #bringbackSonicBoom

I 100% agree. I'm very, very sad that the show was overshadowed by the games due to the terrible reception it received. Although I agree that the games were bad, the show is far better than the games in terms of writing. I never gave the Sonic Boom comics a chance because at the time, I was avoiding them after reading about the whole Ken Penders situation between SEGA and Archies that made me dislike that guy. People who were avoiding the show and the comics really never gave them a chance. :(

SatAM has its share of flaws, but it deserves props for what it tried achieving back then. It had a good cast of characters, a surprisingly bleak tone for a children's series, and a cool fantasy/sci-fi setting to explore. Had the show been made in the early-mid 2000s, it probably would've been more successful. The only thing SatAM seemed to struggle with was the humor; which was pretty weak at best. But to be fair, almost all of Sonic's media outings struggled with finding humor. "Boom" is the only one that managed to succeed in that department thus far.

Season 2 of Sonic Boom was where the show really grew the beard. A third season was teased at the end of "Eggman: The Video Game: Part 2: The End of the World", with Shadow vowing to return and Eggman planning his next evil scheme, but thanks in part to Christina Miller and her obsession with Toddler Titans, there may never be one.

Sonic X could've been great if they'd went with the "creatures and people exist in the same world" angle. Instead the whole creatures from another world in ours was just endlessly cheesy. Satam and underground-while lacking any humans besides Robotnik, at least work in their own right and don't try to have anything both ways. Sonic Boom is just nothing but a joke-any episode that isn't like the justin beaver episode is just as basic and boring as it gets.
