You're right, not a lot of people talk about the Sonic manga, it's a pretty obscure topic. The video is quite informative, good job! I know that Coro Coro released one (or multiple?) issues of the manga for the 25th anniversary for a limited time on their website but...why the limited time thing, you can't even read these officially anywhere. These should get a proper re-release one day.

8:30 Not only is that a cool car Tails has in Sonic CD, it's the exact same car as the one he had in the Manga, a Lotus 7. His cars in the All-Stars Racing series are also based on the Lotus Open-Wheel design, mixed with another Open-Wheel racer he had in Sonic Drift, that had more of a Formula One styled nose cone that wouldn't be present for later games.

It's funny that the best version of Tails is from a obscure old manga but that is actually like this with lots of Sonic characters for me the best version of Dr. Eggman is from AOSTH I even made a video about it I don't know I just like that version and yes I agree this is the best Sonic comic they actually referenced these mangas and characters in a IDW special but that's it I hope they acknowledge it more

I think Sonic Having a Manga Comics makes a lot of sense. After all Sonic The Hedgehog’s home is Japan alongside other franchises like Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, Super Mario, Kirby Mega Man Etc.

No offense to you or your opinion, but saying this is the best Sonic comic might be a bit clickbait. Cuz i've actually read the comic you're talking about, and while it's a really interesting piece of early Sonic lore, it pales in comparison to other Sonic comics like Fleetway or Archie. (Which i also read.) Sonic The Comic was really accurate to the classic games but featured its own ideas and stories that made it unique. And Archie may have been very inconsistent at at times, but it featured some of the best Sonic stories ever told. It's okay if you prefer this comic, i just disagree with the title and would like to state my opinion. Also, since i'm here, i wanna make a video suggestion! Since you seem to be interested in early japanese Sonic lore, you should make a video about the Sonic The Hedgehog Technical Files! It's an early document made by Sega of japan that features an early origin for Sonic, a section describing how Sonic's life was like before Sonic 1, and Character Profiles about Sonic, Tails, Eggman and Knuckles. If i'm not mistaken it was used as basis for every JP Sonic media including the Sonic OVA. It used to be canon up until SA2. Another thing to talk about in the video is the Sonic the Hedgehog Story Comic! A comic adaptation of the Sonic 1 video game. This one i'm not sure up until when it was canon since it featured beta elements that were scrapped from the final game of Sonic 1. Still, it's interesting and i'd love to see you make a video about it.

I have a little suggestion, you are one of my new favourite channels because of your calm pace and proper annalysis, but if you could just use the normal versions/other remixes of the background songs, I personally heavily dislike trap, but if you dont change it its alright, everyone has different tastes, just a suggestion, and have a great day!
