QOTD ⚡ What camera do you use for vlogging? What accessories? Let me know! 👇 ❌VIDEO NOTES & CORRECTIONS ❌ Please Read… 1️⃣ If you are doing a lot of walking around vlogging… O.S.S. (Optical Steady Shot) lenses are ideal to help remove “shake.” The 10-18 f4 lens I recommend in this video has it, so that is the best lens for ‘vlogging while walking’ with this camera. Yeah... OSS lenses for moving and walking around. Are you comparing the Canon lens IS with Sony OSS? That is a weakness of the Sony a6400 for sure... but I'm still pumped about what I create with this camera kzbin.info/www/bejne/kKjZkqN7lq-Dgac.

@@ThinkMediaTV Thanks for the response Sean. I have the kit lens which has OSS, as you would know. Are there better OSS lense you would recommend? I just purchased an A6400 from Best Buy with the 16-50 kit lens. I have a cage with Rode shotgun mic to the top-right. I don't like the way the cord has to travel diagonal back across the screen to plug in so I may relocate the mic to the left and wrap it like you do. I do like the cage though because I've been known to be in a rush and I like all the mounting holes all over the place so I can basically mount that thing in almost any orientation.

I just got an a6100 for 589 at a Memorial Day sale. Yes it’s somewhat limited but at that price it’s awesome. I already have an a7iii, I’m using this 6100 primarily for vlogging and just use the standard kit lens16-50 for now. It’s mounted in a small rig with a mic and light and I use a Sony Bluetooth grip that has start stop wide zoom and photo movie buttons. It also has a tripod built in. Makes a great little setup for less than the cost of a a6400. Yes I know it’s not as powerful but for what I’m doing it’s perfect and I have the power in my A7iii if I need it.

I’m using the Sony a6400 along with the sigma 16mm f1.4 and the zhiyun weebill lab. I’ve also recently purchased the sigma 56mm f1.4 and I’m loving it!! Something to keep in mind is that the sigma lenses don’t have OSS and the a6400 doesn’t have IBIS, so if you can use (and afford 💰👀) a gimbal it would make your videos that much smoother, especially at 56mm.

The Sony keeps popping up as the obvious choice. I would really like to bring my studio video quality up the most, would you recommend the Sony for this and if so which lens would work best in that environment? i'd love to run this setup but i'm really happy with the gopro hero 7 black with audio adapter. the quality is almost he same, sure no bokeh but eh, so small and run and gun-able. and about a 3rd teh cost. our audience seems to like the quality as well. sure low light is a problem, no doubt.
@ELECTRIC-DNA5 жыл бұрын
We've been starting to use our hero7 also with an audio adapter and man its a great little rig! Low light sucks but if you turn off hyper smooth, a bummer I know, then you can get much better quality video in low light. The hyper smooth just really messes with stuff in low light. And honestly, unless you're ready to throw down some serious cash, it's difficult to overcome lowlight noise. You end up with a much more expensive and heavy setup to achieve it.

@@ShawnWeekly I really appreciate your comments, I'm so new at this but I really enjoy it! I'm interested in Modest fashion tips, fitness, and lifestyle. But I fear that people won't be so interested in that. 🤦🏻♀️ About the Sony a6400, first of all I love how small and light it is compared to other camera that I own, you can easily travel with it. I also am in love with the image quality I haven't shot any video it 4k yet. But the idea that I can makes me so excited. I have been taking pictures with it though and I love it too. The combination of sigma 16mm 1.4 with this camera is perfect. Another thing that is pretty cool about it is that you can transfer your files to your phone quickly and post wherever you want from there. My most favorite of all the other features is the flip up screen, it really nice to be able to see myself. One thing I wish it had is a touch screen. But I guess it's not such bid deal. I hope that helps you a little, and thanks for the words of encouragement! ☺️

I have a Canon SL2 with a EFS 10-18mm Lens (along with the other 2 lenses), Rode Video Mic Pro and Joby Gorillapod 3K. Super light weight setup! I need one of those ringlights now. LOL.

I'm deciding between sony and fujifilm for my official vlogging gear. That is, if I can actually commit to this KZbin thing. So far I've been consistent with Think Media and Video Influencers channel guidance. Thank you for the never ending useful content you always provide! I'm currently exploring what vlogging has to offer. Feel free to follow my journey if such content is up your alley :)
