I made these a few days ago. When the strawberries got into contact with the sugar for the 2nd proofing, they gave off a lot of water. I wasn't sure what to do with that so I poured some of it off, but then the rolls started sliding dangerously towards the edge of the dish so I gave up. :-D The result was great, really delicious! Thanks a lot for this great recipe.

Oh my goodness those absolutely look heavenly. Strawberries inside those would be amazing. I was wondering if making a plain granulated sugar mix with lemon rind and some lemon curd to put on the dough instead of the brown sugar cinnamon mix? Strawberries and lemon go well together also.

Hi! Yes, you can prepare the rolls ahead of time. You can also shape the rolls, cover them, and refrigerate until you're ready to bake.

Yes! :) Just shape the rolls and let them proof for about 10 to 15 minutes, then cover with plastic wrap and place into the refrigerator until ready to bake :)

I used milk in my dough, but it's causing the dough to look funny and also causing it to not rise and feels very classy like play dough

Hi! Sorry to hear that your dough didn't turn out. If it's not rising, it's a problem with the yeast, not milk. Make sure your yeast is not expired and don't add yeast to super hot milk. The milk should be between 110 and 120F.
