@@NaickKim It's almost lychee season, and you must try them. It was the favorite fruit of an ancient royal concubine, and her emperor had people riding fast horses to deliver them to her from across half of China. Papaya is wonderful in Taiwan as well and tasted like ice cream.

@@NaickKimThe little Jade watermelon is different from the regular watermelon. Little Jade melons are small and are yellow inside. They have different flavor from watermelons. In Taiwan's summers, I used to not eat regular meals, but just eating all the fruits.

老實說，那家臭豆腐看著就知道不會是首選。大部分台灣人，其實已經練就用看的，就知道這家臭豆腐行不行。 一般比較好吃的，是一大塊四方形，中間挖洞能塞泡菜的那種。那種通常都會比較酥脆，口感比較豐富。 如果之後會去台東市，請務必去試試看當地的林家臭豆腐，非常非常推薦。

Great to see you give an honest opinion on both the tofu and steak. Stinky tofu isn't for everyone, and the quality isn't the same everywhere. Oyster omelette, the chewey part is tapioca starch or sweet potato starch, it gives a slimy/chewey texture that some people like, the sauce is a ketchup and miso type of sauce. It's ok not to like everything. Cheers.

We love going to night markets . The most fun is checking out each stall and finding something different. With fierce competition and relatively high turn over rate, It never gets old. Stinky tofu is hard to get used to like all fermented foods. One needs to grow up eating it to find it appealing.

A cool place to explore in Southern Taiwan would be the small Lambai Island (Xiao Liu Qiu) , it's so beautiful and you can spot sea turtles. There is a cool landmark there called the flower vase, you guys should check it out! :)
