@@Palumor cheers mate, contextually I used to do WW Competitive Progression Raiding back in the day hah (vanilla), so did some early early rogue content creation for YT. Favorite though was tanking an Onyxia kill pre-BWL release :D. I always played Combat though, so Sub is relatively new, other than periods of PVP specs. Your content is phenomenal quality. Clearly explained, deep thinking. Listened to a few others too and it just doesn't hit the mark like you do. Partner is extremely well deserved.

I just ran across your channel and may leave a few more comments today...but this stuff is so helpful for me right now! I've mained an aff 'lock since Wrath. She's still my favorite character, though the poor lady is hanging out at lv52 in Oribos. My only 60 so far is my sub rogue - which I leveled alongside my husband's blood DK, since I'm terrible at rogue-ing and knew the carry would be welcome on that alt. Short story shorter, I'm trying to Git Gud on a class that I know precious little about. This overflow of intel will likely go a LONG way toward improving my playtime. Two minutes into this video and I thought "Duh, why didn't I macro Tricks to always target my pocket-tank?" because even the simplest ideas are escaping me. xD No accidental un-stealth macro: Brilliant. Killed myself in Torghast doing that at least twice. >.> Mouseover Shadowstep macro: Awesome. Also duh, I love mouseover macros, why didn't I think of that. Very good stuff. Thank you. :D

Is that a mace or sword offhand at 4:24? The icon on the offhand of the character pane looks like the same for a mace i have and one weapon looks bigger than the other on the in game model maybe its just my view.

Palumor, can I recommend changing your current shadowstep + kick macro to a cast sequence with a reset of about 1.5 seconds! You could make it a mouse over also if it suits you. I find it super handy because you can spam it or just step only and it’ll reset quickly enough not to need another shadowstep button on the bar! I also have a separate kick only button but the step kick is so often used in arena to ensure that kick. Cheers

Honestly for many years, what I've learned about my playstyle is I tend to glance at my core action bar very frequently, (the bottom left ones) and because of that I specifically only put my crucial CDs in there and I kind of just have learned to remember where everything is! WeakAuras is great but I feel that same way that it kind of clutters my UI! I would say maybe isolate down on what is the most important things you have showing and see if you can cut anything out. I think a big mistake I use to make in PvP was actually staring at all my UIs too much to not be aware of what's actually going on right infront of me on the game! Hi, im having an issue with the Burst Macro? I've put it in the same way, with the same trinket and everything but it doesn't trigger Cold Blood when I tested it from stealth (not in combat) i'm not sure what's wrong? The rest worked fine with Shadow Dance, Symbols of Death and the Trinket, but no Cold Blood trigger, probably cause it needs a target I'm guessing?

You might not have warmode on, or you might be in an instance! Don't forget Cold Blood is a PvP talent! :)

What is the thought behind /use trinketname instead of /use 13 or /use 14 in your burst macro? You have to always equip the on use trinket in the same slot I guess, but I find that easier than remembering to switch trinket name. Am I missing something else?

I wouldn't worry! All professions are really cool. I personally love to grab a gathering profession like herbalism to make some gold and engineering because of all the cools little perks you get like a glider built into your cape and rocket boost on your belt. @@Palumor just saw your video. good stuff. never ever saw anyone really talk about cast sequences. i like to put my reset=target because if you play with subterfuge talent you can tab cheap shot 2-3 players before starting your sequence,. also if you want to cancel your sequence you can just select a different target. Also reset=combat is great for rogue since if for some reason you couldnt finish your sequence or what not, if you can get a restealth/get out of combat the sequence will reset and you can use it again.

please make a series of guides for how to beat each class in duels for every class. For example what is each class strong at in terms of abilities and rotations in pvp vs other classes. That would be a lot of contents for a lot of videos to come. This would help tremendously as players generally do not have the time to play every class to learn how to beat them effectively on their main. thanks

As of right now, I plan to play balance druid/arcane mage and sub rogue. Although I also will eventually level my warrior and shaman. Hey bro, just wanted to say you can Bypass using two Trix macro by using a mouse over macro instead. #showtooltip Tricks of the Trade /Cast [target=mouseover] Tricks of the Trade This just means you need to hover your mouse on the Trix target character OR party/raid portrait and press the button. Rather than using two different macros to reassign tricks to.

That sounds good if you're constantly changing up your tricks target, but if you're going into a dungeon once you can use the first one then you're done! Just the normal macro the whole time and no mouseover! Appreciate you sharing though.

@@matherace Oh okay! I see what you mean. To be honest nowadays it's really mostly preference. Back in the day there was more specific advantages to professions. I would say if you like cool gimmicky things like the rocket boosts or gliders, then engineering won't let you down! I'd pair it with a gather profession of either herblore or mining to make some gold. :) That's just my 2 cents though! Happy to meet a newer WoW player, hope you're having fun!
