I know what you mean. My uncle was an addict until a pretty bad stroke paralyzed half his body. Up until around 2012 he was a married man, held a stable job, and had a son in high school. It took less than a year and he lost everything when he relapsed. Years following he survived by support from his parents (he sold everything my grandfather had) and damn near did the same with my grandmother. He’s been found across the country, disappeared for damn near a year then just showed back up. We all thought he was dead, filed a missing persons and everything and he showed up on his son’s birthday asking where he was. Not too terribly long ago, he was kicked out of a convenient store I used to work at for what he said to a fellow meth addict; apparently he said something along the lines of “killing gets easier the more you do it and I got nothing to lose”. Scared the shit out of my old boss. The things that man has experienced in the past decade is a hell we can barely fathom. Meth is intense

It gets weird around day 4 when you're in full blown psychosis thinking that every government agency is watching you, your family and friends are watching you, snipers are positioned all around aiming at you aliens, demons... and you're still just beating away.

I lived with roommates who were meth addicts and I can say from experience it’s so annoying to be around these people - I would come home to the living room being trashed and the furniture all moved around with graffiti drawings on it and also one of them almost started a fire because he forgot a kettle (my kettle btw) was boiling water until it all boiled out and melted the lid so I woke up to the sweet smell of burning plastic :) they were also delulu as hell and would debate me about the dumbest things like how it was immoral to get the cat spayed. At least we had fun making donuts and listening to 90s pop music together lol fun times

“these people” are not all like that. just because this was your experience, it doesn’t mean meth addicts in general are like this. please stop generalizing based off experience. in my addiction before i got sober, i cleaned the house, showered, brushed my teeth, worked, slept every night at least for 5 hours, ate at least once a day, etc. not everyone who uses meth is gonna be non-functional in there addiction as with all drugs. for some reason though, meth is the one thats most stigmatized, and its because of the media and fear mongering behind it. yes its an awful drug, but not everyone who struggles with it end up losing their teeth, end up homeless, weigh 90 lbs and act like a tweaker. people like you are the reason most people who use it are afraid to speak up about their struggles, and then end up living a secret lifestyle and never getting the help they need

@@2ndcomingofJC yeah no shit I know everyone is different, but like I said this is my experience, which involved very typical behaviors of meth addicts: moving furniture around, spacing out, staying up all night, spiritual psychosis, taking advantage of the kindness of others etc. Obviously I’m going to highlight the bad things as to not glorify doing drugs, I’d honestly rather scare people away from doing them, but you don’t know me and I didn’t write out the whole entire story in one KZbin comment. For some more context: I helped the girl roommate get clean from the meth as soon as the guy roommate moved out and wasn’t a bad influence on her anymore. I vouched for her to our landlord to stay so she could be safe from him (he started stalking her) and not end up homeless again. Even though she got clean, she had horrible health problems from the drug use and I listened to her screaming in pain from her toothaches. She was also HIV positive and was just living a very painful existence because of her choices to use drugs. She died of an overdose shortly after I moved out. I was extremely empathetic to her and she was my friend who I ultimately lost to drugs.

I used for four months, five years ago. The first time i tried it i didnt even ask what was in the pipe, had a breakdown and ended up trying to jump off a hospital roof naked because "god wanted me to"... I remember seeing a picture of a girl with an eye patch and thinking i had to pull my eyeball out. That was from ONE puff. Then i did it again two years later that was the 4 month period. Thought god wanted me to kill myself again, thought wanted me to hit my "best friend" over the head with a shovel.. (didn't i ran away. The confusion and fear in psychosis is overwhelming). Im autistic so more prone to psychosis, but still. Don't do it. Not even once. 🤷‍♀️ People that offer it to you ARE NOT your best friend and if you are autistic they are likely using you for your resources. They do not give a shit if you go insane, they will give you a little more meth to wake up and drive them places for hours on end until you cant keep up anymore and just give them your car... Then disappear for days on end with it. 🤷‍♀️

Just ibuprofen and coffee. Once you're in your twenties, and in a safe space with people who can take care of you, maybe try a joint and go slow. Shrooms you need more time and space. It's a lot more powerful and significant. Research into it before getting it. And for alcohol, yeah it's not that bad if you do it once in a while, but out of these three, this one's the worst. Hot take but I miss stimulants. Bath salts, more specifically MDPV and 4-FA. Meth was like the adderall of those substances. I'm not saying I didn't ever have any bad experiences, but it sure as hell didn't make my life any worse. Worst part was everyone knew and I'd spend hours/days obsessing over things. I completely forgot this channel existed haha... I was 1 and half years using to speed and slowly evolved to meth. It was grear. It felt good, i was being "more producrive" even tho what i was doing was looping around. And chain smoking and watching porn for 18hours straight with a barely even a semi😅 The come up was great (i never smoked it) it was this fresh feeling, butterflies in ur stomach, sun is shining, life was great, u was finally excited about something... i think i was hooked on that not the actual tweaking part. And rhe come downs was so bad u didnt wanna come down as long as u had some. So u end up staying up for days until ur vision full of visual snow and u see silhuettes of ppl in ur walls and hearing voices... scary stuff but it waa oddly fun. It gave my porpousless life meaning. It was on and off thing for a long time, but now ive seemed to kicked the habit. I was lucky it didnt toke over my life. Many of my friends wasnt so lucky. I had to cut off all my friends off nd start from scrach. I started dating this girl and put my whole life to her i dated her for 3 years until we broke up and now i have nothing. Im a 23 year old loser with no friends, cant get a job, its almost impossible to describe how it feels when u literally have no one. Or nothing. Feels like in my life everytime i had a choise to pick wich path to go to. I picked the worse one. And this is where i endef up....
