The BEST SUBURB of Boise Idaho is Eagle Idaho or IS IT?

When we were planning our move, Eagle came out as the logical top Idaho choice. This Boise suburb checks a lot of boxes and makes a lot of sense. For us, however, home prices and taxes made a neighboring state slightly more desirable.

I'm so glad I moved away from the Eagle/Meridian/Boise rat-race. The further you move away, the less traffic and bottlenecks. New house within 5 minutes of work was also a real plus.

I think Eagle Idaho is beautiful and I'm definitely thinking about moving there.. At the same time I think about all the people moving from California to Idaho who voted California into the position it is today.. imagine when they turn Idaho into California.

The politics in California ARE terrible. But this doesn't mean that everyone from there voted a certain way or your new neighbors are individually responsible for the awful policies that forced them to leave the Golden State. Since the influx, Idaho is polling more red now than ever, and blue AZ and NV are flipping.

Alcohol addicts, I am not flattered that Eagle consumes more alcohol in the state.

I definitely would not describe Eagle Idaho as a place where a ton of alcohol is consumed. What I meant was, this restaurant in particular is very, very busy. A lot of celebrations, etc…more to make the point that people go out and spend time dining together here in Eagle vs other places.

Technically you’re correct. But, as far as the community and life living is concerned it makes much more sense to say ‘Eagle’ so that those who are unfamiliar with the landscape here have a grasp on the community. If we say ‘Boise’ people think of something totally different. This is why we encourage people to schedule a zoom call. We go over a map with them. 👍🏻
