I got a pair from Kostas in Coimbra leather and they look and feel great. One word of advice. I usually take UK 10.5 but this fit in a UK 10. They run a half a size large for my medium width foot.

Looks like a very fine nap. I have a pair of chukkas made by Russell and Bromley - not that impressed with the fit as they squeak and slip at the heel....I'd love to upgrade to Carlos Santos...maybe one day. Look forward to more content. Tony

Thanks for review. Not all sizes are available already. I cannot order 6. Any plans to restock? Danite sole is really great option for rainy or snowy season. 7991 is usually made on leather sole, I own one pair in Wine Shadow. Perfect fitting but I wear them only in dry weather. Being also owner of suede chukka Loake 1880 Kempton I'm thinking of getting rid of them, upgrading to this suede CS 7991. Unfortunately Loake's last 026 didn't suit me well, and Kempton look a bit clumsy compared to CS chukka. P.S. Also would be cool to find 7991 black Dainite sole based in your shop.

Hey Pavel, Unfortunately the UK 6 sold out a little after the video’s release. With the factory closed for summer it will take a while before a restock. Dainite is great indeed, that’s why I brought the latest suede and dark brown Chukkas with it! The 401 last on the Chukkas is generally slightly wider on the front a few mm. So i would recommend sizing down half from your regular true to size UK. I find it one of my best fitting lasts. Unfortunately I don’t have experience with the loake 026 as I find their lasts a bit uninspiring. Demand for black shoes hasn’t been great for me unfortunately. The only way would be to get the black Chukkas through the patina arrived and add the city sole insert.

I wonder , the 401 last in this example is similar to the 200 last for the crockett and jones chukkas ( the narrower models ) Aren't these last sizes universal ? I alo have a pair of crockett and jones chepstow chukkas , last 341 which has a rounder tip , I love them to death . I would love Santos chukkas with the slighlty rounde tip

Lasts are not universal and have nothing to do with each other I am afraid. 401 runs larger than most too. At the moment there’s no plan for a rounder Chukka unfortunately

In terms of the sizing,while I buy size 41 in Italian shoes,which is supposed to be a size 7,my experience in English or Spanish shoes is that I need to take a 6.5 in Churchs or 6 in L’Stony.Is this model a standard fit or a big fit?

I would say these are true to size but if you find your loafers slipping or want a snug fit I would take half down from your regular UK

Hello! As a shoe enthusiast I have tried most brands by now. I am a little biased but I also have a lot of client feedback. Carlos Santos is miles away from Loake. Also the suede on Santos was better and softer for me than the Crockett Cavendish (which are more expensive and I also retail them). These Chukkas are really nice and I am super happy!
