The people yelling sellout and that this cost too much obviously have never bought a professional product in their life. If you think this is expensive, you should see some of the prices golf courses pay for liquid ferts. This is pretty affordable considering it's a professional product and organic.

Ofcourse a golf course is going to spend a ton of money on fert. However, I want to see the cost breakdown of what they pay per 1lb of N or what a gold course pays per lb of this same stuff. I'm going to guess it's less considering that they buy in bulk. Non the less, this stuff is pricey, and people are always trying to get the most for less.

Sounds solid! I always like skipping fertilizers in the summer months and use bio stimulants with rounds of Humic, Dethatch, and RGS to focus on overall soil health and products that retain moisture and promote deep, healthy roots. I add liquids and granulars in the Spring and Fall months here in Michigan.

Happy Father’s Day, Jesse! Was waiting for you to compare their taste after mixing in water. 😂 Question: can’t decide between buying a broadcast or drop spreader. I know they spread differently but what’s the difference in using one over the other? I’m leaning toward drop for even coverage but what would you recommend?
@LAWNLIFE
@LAWNLIFE 5 ай бұрын
Happy Father's day brother! Get a broadcast. Drop spreader is great for seeding a broadcast will be so much faster and you can get very good coverage. The hardest thing about the broadcast spreaders is the edges though. I feel like you could miss areas easily with the drop spreader unless you're gonna be on a very low rate and go over the lawn multiple times in different directions

Great video Jessy! P is banned in many places around the globe. I am surprised how AS can be harmless in the heat of the summer, except, if it is in micro dosage. Organic is great, but completly unpredictable (slowly unpredictable), depending on air temperature, moisture and organic matter content. Price is also 3 times higher compared to mixing pure NPK.

I'm not sure about this product in general. The best way to increase microbial activity is by incorporating EM1 (Microbial Inoculant) and Blackstrap Molasses into your foliar program. The combination of the two will greatly improve overall soil health. EM1 will also improve disease resistance.

Earthworks has always been available to “homeowners,” but only DIY homeowners such as the viewers of this channel would know that. The ordinary homeowner would not have the knowledge to venture to a commercial landscaping store for fertilizer. This product is sold at Landscape Supply in the Virginia and Maryland area. I discovered EW in 2018, and have been using both granular and liquid EW products since then. I’ve had great results with 8-2-2 and 16-0-5 from EW. It's very difficult to over do it with liquid applications if you're following the recommended application rates and timing your applications 2 weeks apart. I do treatments weekly for some of my clients. A combination of granular and liquid products is also very effective, you'll get the best of both.

Earthworks every time. Milo is overrated and I will never use biosolids.

I don't think he's selling out, but I don't think that's cheap either. It would be almost $100 to do my whole lawn once & pay for shipping. That's not cheap and I have to do the work. Sometimes I think dudes commenting have 1000sq foot lawns. I do like having options, but usually don't buy stuff that's on KZbin anyways suggested by lawn youtubers.

Never said it was cheap. I said it was affordable for homeowners to use a professional grade product that professional stadiums and courses use. I mean, what's the difference in price between this and some Anderson's products? Try it before you hate on it.

@@LAWNLIFE yeah, I got a green up for sure. I let it sit overnight and the irrigation started this morning. I like the fact that it’s low input N. I used the 1.5 oz per 1k rate.
