IMO It's not awkward. It's perfect. Have you heard how normal people speak in tense and unfamiliar situations? It ain't with grace.
@ChargeQM3 жыл бұрын
Also, at least in Silent Hill 2, the awkward voices were purposeful. You can hear one of the voice actors going full blast towards the end, and she put so much emotion into the performance she actually cried. It's heart-rending.

@@Rammy_Latin Monologue is a writing problem, not a voice acting problem. The corpse's hand gripping extremely tightly onto whatever is in it is actually accurate, but it would mean that the dude died about twelve hours ago, since it takes about four hours for rigor mortis to occur and it lasts around eight hours at room temperature. Which is entirely possible, judging by the lack of decomposition and the fact that the blood on his chest hasn't coagulated yet (it's still reflective so it has to be a liquid) so that guy was actually alive not too long before you got there. Better question is why the hell was he holding a tire iron while being operated on, or more likely, who arranged him in that position. Awesome video by the way, killing it as always.

8:15 nah, if someone dies holding something, their hand's gonna open because the muscles relax. However, if you keep that person's hand closed, let's say you tie a rope around it so the fingers stay in a fist, then untie the rope after rigor mortis sets in, it gonna be bitch to try to take whatever that hand is holding, i know this because in med school i had to dissect a body so it could be treated further to use for studying purposes in another time, i had to change the person's arm position in order to cut open the forearm and i had to use at least 60 to 70% of my strength to hold the arm while someone tied the hand to keep the arm in position, now just imagine trying to open a closed hand.

8:01 Skeletal muscles contract to move our skeleton. Our bodies produce ATP, which is necessary to unbind the little filaments in your muscles and end the contraction. When you die, your muscles lose access to nutrients and run out of ATP, so muscle relaxation can’t occur and they become locked in place. Rigor mortis only lasts for a few days until the tissue starts to decay TLDR; ya that’s realistic

Great video, as always. Also, the Mob Psycho 100 trailer, after the 100 days countdown, was pretty hype. Can't wait for season 3

Rigor mortis does loosen up after enough time, or if you heat the body or massage the dead joints so you could probably snatch that handle from that corpse without needing to really break that hand. Not that breaking it would be all the difficult anyway.

Rigor Mortis ends in 24-48 hours after death, depending on heaps of factors. Afterwards, Secondary Flaccidity sits in, and the body starts to decompose and loosen up. But, no, heating the body or massaging the joints will not get rid of the muscle rigidity during the Rigor stage. Hope that helps. Source: I'm a forensic pathologist.

Jesus... just watching you solve the puzzles gave me a headache. I can't imagine what it's like to actually do them so props to you for gritting your teeth and making it through, I sure as hell would not have been able to do such a feat.

This game truly was a fantastic game! For anyone wanting more games like this to get made and released, or for old Resident Evil or Silent Hill games to get any love ever again, games like this have to sell well.
