I went out and got a couple of the soft shell and the crispy shell. They didn't disappoint ! I like the direction Taco Bell is going with these menu items. The sauce left a slight tingle in my mouth for a couple minutes after eating. The soft shell had crispy cabbage, that was a nice contrast with the chicken and the avocado sauce. Best I had in quite some time !

im so glad you tried out the crispy taco. I work at a location and its my favorite item. Going into this I was all in for the slow roasted chicken, not so much the cheese like you mentioned. Sure it is flavorful, but the Avocado Verde Salsa changes the flavor up significantly. ive had it so much, the taco became bland without the verde salsa. Though it is a 20 cent upcharge for another packet, the cantina menu is a premium menu, and so is the sauce.
