an interesting variant for blademaster is to spat azir, not super contested, and scales VERY well with AS/ w/e we are calling the bladmaster synergy nowadays. and is ranged, even with the bigger board i have found that congestion can still be an issue.

One thing to note about blademasters is that yasuo is currently bugged where his ability wont apply on hit effects properly. This means that guinsoo's,giant slayer,etc wont work from his ability making him pretty weak to stack items on

Why is the blademaster spat necessary for blademasters if the extra synergy is at 4/6 blademasters, and there are 4 in the game? Why is the 5th blademaster important?

You miss Poison in the variation 2 of pretador comps and you have only 3 glacial (let's say you don't have a spat) You may want to have kog maw instead of Warwick here. And I know you said that you don't have time to talk about all the possible good comps, but isn't Shadow/Bmademaster a thing ? Especially if you get the early BM spat as you said ? You can easily fit desert 2 cloud 2 and mystic in that comp. Anyway, good video! I liked the fact that it was concise and graphical

Recently i discovered a weirdchamp team comp that just works. Start with WW Skarner (predator), then go Voli Ornn, then (warden), then get Ez Ashe, then replace predators with 4 warden/4 glacial (both if you hit either spatula) Endgame looks like Ornn Voli Taric Braum (warden) Ashe Ez (glacial). Ideally you glacial your Ashe and get Zed or even electric lux. Or hit 9 for glacial/crystal lux.

I feel like your blademaster assessment missed another key rotation: adding 3 summoners. If you add yorik, malz, and azir you keep desert, gain shadow 2, and if you push 9 you can hit light 3 with summoner 3 yorik adding another tanky carry to your game. The reason I say this is because finding yi can be hard, like lvl 8 hard. You can't wait that long for 4 blademasters so you need a better midgame comp to hold you off and running 2 blademasters with 3 light can be super helpful here. Overall really good advice tho and I'm excited to test some of these other comps out now but just wanted to share that option :D

I think warden with taric is better than 6 light or 6 mage if you dont get the best items and like two 3 star champs.

I main light, and am only plat, but up till now I’ve found Janna, Yasuo, and any warden (ideally Taric) to be good catch-all add ons. 4 warden or mystic can be extremely good situationally also. I only pick cloth armor or cloak from carousel, with ideally 2 thornmail and MR on nasus. Assassins or god RNG inferno are the only comps that ever cause me to go 3-4th place. I’m sure all this changes at higher ranks, but it will get anyone to plat, I’m confident. Also, I hyper roll to 2.3 every game, but never after unless I didn’t hit nasus 2, but that is extremely rare. After, I Econ to lvl 7, hit 6 light lvl 2, then go for lvl 8 or 9 depending on health. Yi is Hail Mary lvl 7 add on, Thresh/Nami Hail Mary lvl 8.

Azir can dish out crazy amounts of damage as long as you give him attack speed. Utilising the short window where his soldier is up as much as possible is key to using him as a carry. I really recommend making him a blademaster and giving him rageblade + AP, and with proper positioning he can carry the whole fight. As for synergies, a sivir for desert blades seems good, but I believe the most important part is to get a beefy protective Frontline that can protect azir and keep the units in place instead of running away from the sand soldiers. This makes extra Yorick relevant, not just as a summoner, but also as someone who let's the Frontline stay in place longer. After that, shadow seems like the natural place to go

What about Hurricane Red on Kog? that's what i usually go for, mabye with a Ludens; getting 2 bolts of Red Buff can easily spread Kog'd damage a lot, and Red ticks kill with Predator.

I won first with light 7 blade master cloud ranger mystic I can’t remember the others but anywho I decided not to go kindred or yi even though I could have had lvl 2 yi because I thought with the two iceborn gauntlets I had on a cloud map that cloud would be best now I’m not so sure I won anyways just wonder exactly how powerful are they compared to other units btw I didn’t put iceborn into Jax bc I’m bronze 4 was iron 1 before that game and didn’t think bout that next time for sure though

So I just tried it out right after watching and got 1st place super easy, was lucky tho. Comp was: Kog, Reksai, Warwick, Mundo, Voli, Olaf, Singed, Glacial Lux, Ezrael Got lucky with lux and had 6 glacial, predator, poison, berserker
