I have a very obvious ofhg leak but my oil level never changed on my asthma 5k miles. The oil that was leaking was clean all the way until the last 500 miles and my car ran horrible. Could I have been getting low on oil with a bad sensor?

Hey I have 2011 328 xdrive when I stop and the car is in drive not all the time but most of the time my rpm’s jump on and down put it in neutral and it stops
