Guys. Listen. This guys videos are top quality educational material from the pits of Wall Street. If you’re learning from someone else (select few are exempt) then you’re wrong. This guy is real talk and will give you the disappointed dad talks when you need to hear it. I can’t begin to explain how much I’ve learned about my style, strategy, and myself just by learning from this guy

I love how he keeps reiterating what should be common sense. I understand that there are many new people out there starting to learn or learning. Maybe you are not in to the technical learning he is teaching but the rest is a great foundation for just understanding the markets. Ultimately you want your stock to go up but, always know your risk and what you are willing to lose before you get out.

Jared, I love your subtle jabs😂😂😂 Keep 'em coming. Thanks as always for doing these! One of my favorite parables (look it up, there's many life lessons within it) about objectivity: 3 blind men stumble across an elephant for the first time. One blind man touches the elephants leg and concludes it's a tree. Another touches it's ear and concludes it's a sailboats canvas. The other touches the trunk and determines it's a snake. At the end of the day, their opinions are all wrong and the objective truth is that it's an elephant. Facts don't care about your feelings. The market doesn't care about your opinions. I'll leave the political ones to your imagination...

Maybe for some people, subjective trading is viable, but as far as I know, it's the best way to LOSE money on the market. You can add fundamentals analysis to your strategy, they work only if your chart is following that up. Don't base your trading only on fundamental analysis and emotions. Great video!

Another awesome video!!!!!!!!! Great help, thank you so much for all your videos, I’ve watched dozens of them. Started trading last fall, my brother has been teaching me, he’s great, he told me to watch at least one of your videos every day. I’m still staying in super small trades until I’m always profitable. My account started at 25,500, it’s touching 32,000 now. I took oodles of trades, all tiny amounts and learned a lot. I wait for better trades now, some days I don’t take any. This sure is fun though, can’t wait until I’m a seasoned trader. Lol, I didn’t know ANYTHING about the market a year ago, so thankful for my brother and you and Ricky Gutierrez. Y’all have helped me so much!!!!! Wish I would have heard about this 30 years ago, but things come in your life when the time is right, and that’s definitely true of me and the market. Thank you again for all your help!!!!!!

"When in doubt, stay out." That's actually my biggest problem. I'm _always_ in doubt. Even when the setup is perfect, I'm in doubt, because the _potential_ to lose is what keeps me out. Subjective? Emotional? Yeah, but that's why I'm only a few months in and still sponging up information.
@tradelogikk81823 жыл бұрын
To win you must first become a good loser. Meaning the idea of losing doesn't bother you. It is just one possible outcome. Build your confidence in your setups and yourself by trading small. Trade just enough to cover commissions even. As these trades work out and you gain confidence you'll find that you'll be able to increase your size and still be comfortable with the trade. Still be in control. This is progress. This is what it takes and how you get your mind used to the idea of risk and being okay with losing. The moment You're sitting there nervous, sweating, fidgeting, heart pounding... GET THE FUCK OUT YOU DONE FUCKED UP!!! If you're not calm and in control you WILL make decisions based on emotions rather than logic and reason. Emotional decisions while trading will inevitably zero out your account. Be mindful of your state of mind at all times.

Also when people are new to trading there are fallacies that many source from the information they gather. Everyone acts like they have the secret sauce that draws everyone in. I'm convinced fundamental education needs to be the back bone of my strategy.

I work with charts and news as confirmation (or fundamentals take over, if the 1D Chart looks good/bad). Never rely on one factor. I rely HEAVILY on fundamentals, because (as a pennystock scalper) I deal with other traders. News are not to be ignored, because those traders (perhaps) check the news and act on it. That's why I only use it as confirmation.

Great video, question: what if fundamentals and technicals are complete polar opposites? I notice this with Tesla a lot and tend to just sit on my hands when this happens even if I see a clean pattern. In this case do you just ignore fundamentals and trade it anyway?

Can you post a/another video about recommended techniques to size an R with respect to the stock price? I'm starting to think I should just always set my take take profit limit sell to something like 4.95% to 4.99%, close out of my position and stop looking at the chart for the day even if the stock goes higher. I'm either grossly over-sizing my R and getting stopped out near my -$10 limit or I set the size of my R super tight and get stopped out very quickly from volatility even if the stock rips shortly after. I am using a small cash account and learning the hard way that I need to fund it a lot more so I have settled funds to get back in
@onlyreflex86613 жыл бұрын
Small consistent gains everyday is the only way to build a small account. When you can play more than one contract, then you can take majority profits at 5% and leave 1 contract for bigger wins when a stock does want to make a higher move.

2yrs forward, Dell would be an outlier. He bought VMware with half of his sold share and leveraged the rest on his against his shares I think and that was genius. It was VMware. It was a no lose situation. Even at the time of the recording of anyone sold dell after purchasing VMware clearly does not work in IT and shouldn’t be investing their money there. That was in2016, I honestly don’t know why owning VMware the stock was at 30 bucks for so long.
