The BEST UHP Tyre 2024

Within a fresh, brand-new 2023 test, Steve Sutcliffe takes us through five premium ultra-high performance (UHP) tyres from four of the premium brands: Bridgestone, Continental, Goodyear & Pirelli, . The tyres tested in today's video are the:
Bridgestone Potenza Sport
Continental SportContact 7
Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6
Pirelli P Zero
Each tyre will be tested in both wet and dry conditions on a UK track. Steve will be looking at and analysing five specific areas of each tyre's performance. This includes:
Handling
Braking
Cornering
Aquaplaning
Track speed
The test car Steve will use is a BMW 1 Series, while the tyre sizes are 225/45R17.
All tyres tested within the video have been sourced from an independent retailer to ensure complete neutrality.
Unfortunately we were unable to test the Michelin Pilot Sport due to the tyre size.

Good stuff. I've got the Asymmetric 6 and remember a couple of user reviews saying they performed really well in cold conditions, which helped decide. Agree to re the fairly supple ride and wet performance too. Just a great all-rounder, which they'll all be really.

Interesting test however I was very disappointed that the Michelin Pilot Sport S5 was absent.
