The BEST Upgrades for the Harley Street Bob 114! I often get asked about most of the upgrades to my 2022 Harley Davidson Street Bob. I will run through each of the upgrades I have added to my Harley Street Bob and give a quick overview of each one. I will also run through which one I get the most questions about!

My bike is a Red '22 also. LED front and back lights, HD big Kahuna red trim grips. HD narrow windshield. Black head light ring. Forward controls. Front foot pegs, it had an HD 2 up seat on it, and it's very comfortable to me. Quick detachable sissy bar and luggage rack. Red screaming eagle spark plug wires.(they look cool). Vance and Hines air cleaner, Thundermax tuner, Fueling 472 cam, Bassani 2-1 Road Rage shorties. They sound great. The last thing I put on it was cruise control. That $265 was worth ever cent!! Cruise control is sooo nice. The bike runs darn good! It's so much more quicker, and the power gains is very, very noticeable. Too bad we can't upload pictures. I'm making plans for an S&S 132 big bore kit along with extra add ons parts needed for the upgrade. Injectors, valve springs, steel intake etc.

I have a ‘22 street Bob as well. So far performance wise I have the Fueling BA air cleaner, Sawicki Speed 2-1 exhaust, Maxcel 821 cam, Fueling lifters, upgraded clutch springs, 5.5 injectors, adjustable pushrods, screaming eagle spark plug wires, full dyno tune. For comfort Saddleman Step-Up seat with orange diamond stitching , Biltwell 10.5” risers, Thrashing Supply high bend bars, Memphis Shades Road Warrior fairing with smoked 11” windshield. Aesthetic/looks Screamin Eagle orange accent motor kit (orange tappet covers & orange head accents), orange Mx style pegs from Crossthread Cycles, orange brake arm Crossthread Cycles, orange shift arm from Crossthread Cycle, orange seat screw from Crossthread Cycle,orange gas cap from Crossthread Cycles, HD Dominion Grips, HD Edge Cut levers, orange Crossthread Cycles shift linkage, HD Adversary points cover, HD adversary derby cover. I have the black and orange graphics on my model Street Bob hence all the orange parts to accent it off. As far as next steps I’m looking at full Legend suspension front and rear along with upgrading the brakes. Later on towards the end of 2025 will go back into the motor and do the full 128ci upgrade

@@TheMotoJawn it does the job :-)….if you are looking at upgrading your bars and risers I’d recommend either Thrashin or Kraus. Just remember depending on how high you go you’ll need the cable extension and I’d recommend gauge relocation kit as well.

@@TheMotoJawn sounds like a plan :-) I think stock bars on our bike is already like a 10 or 11” rise. I needed extensions bc the high bend bars are around an additional 3” on top of my risers. Thrashin risers work stellar for our bike to bc of how the gauge can be mounted in the clamp. That’s the only downside of my Biltwell risers, their gauge pod is almost down at my tank so I rarely look at my speed lol ;-)

@@TheMotoJawn on my 2021 fxbbs I have lucky 13 bars in 13” (from lucky daves)and that’s the highest you can go with stock cables, I’m moving to a 14 so I’ll have to change everything (lucky 13 bars have pullback so maybe a normal tbar without pullback will work with 14”)

@@TheMotoJawn I was lucky and got a brand new factory painted 2019 Fatboy tank online from a small motorcycle shop...don't know where he got it but it was brand new in the box...you can buy a brand new primed 5 gallon fuel tank right from your Harley dealer...they won't sell you a factory painted one unless you have the serial number for a 5 gallon bike...they are VIN locked parts. The Harley 5 gallon Softail tanks are plug and play...same mounting points.

I want a 21 street Bob with the 114 and spoked wheels. Just found one with about 7000 Miles on it but with the right upgrades. Would i be worried with that mileage since it the same price as some lower miled ones but with the right bits and pieces.

best upgrade, crash protection. laid my 22 down on friday going roughly 85mph and the worst damage is a missing peg and a dent in the tank. you never think itll happen to you until it does

@@TheMotoJawn I am beyond blessed. Was riding with a group who instantly took control of the situation got my bike upright and checked on my. Worst I got was a bruised rib. Some crazy good luck

@@brettcloud8550 was leading a group ride in an area none of us knew and let my ego tell me to go fast around the corners and have a good time, little did I know one curve has a dirt road that connected to it and the entire road was covered in gravel. So I hit a blind curve way faster than I should’ve and as I was leaned hard my back tire hit the gravel and slid out from under me. When my crash bar hit the ground it flipped the bike into the ditch and threw me off of it. Roughly a month later and the only damage left to fix is the gas tank

Hey guys, I really need your help. I plan on getting a Harley in the next six months. I’m going to put a good down payment on one and trade in my jeep. I want to get back into riding and make it my life due to the depression. I’m going through riding always helped me out, I want to know whether I should get a street bob 114 or a street glide 114? I also plan on making KZbin content doing Moto Vlogs and going to bike meets. I will have to invest into a GoPro at Best Buy but that’s my plan. I want to make it a hobby. I can forget about this depression.

Sometimes you can get into so many changes that all the junk you buy piles up and might conflict with each other. It turns into a serious money-pit. Especially when you find that a particular mod supersedes something you've already done. e.g. integrated tail light after switching to LED turn signals when you get rid of the signals altogether to install the bags you bought the require that signals to be removed anyway. Money pits they are.
