Britt, I made these yesterday. Girl, these were the BOMB!!!! I was thinking that I would have enough for the next day. No such luck. My carnivore husband was slapping these tacos down like there was no tomorrow and he swears that he doesn't like mushrooms. He didn't know they were mushrooms and I didn't tell him. This was a WINNER!!! Thank you

this is causing me to rethink whether it's worth attempting native pronunciations of terms from languages one is not fluent in. usually it makes me cringe to hear a non-english speaker make an audible effort to overcome their accent and pronounce something closer to how we would here in the US, but definitely interesting to hear a perspective that appreciates this kind of effort. thanks for sharing.

I noticed a lot of people don’t like the Jack fruit flavor and I’m betting it’s because the birria is made with canned brined jackfruit and the brine really clashes with most other flavors. I really wish there was a canned option that wasn’t brined, but you can soak in cold water or boil in water to remove the brine flavor before cooking with the canned jackfruit

Sis, l am so glad to see you back! And l see that you did your thing as aways! I make Birria tacos often. I just made some last friday. And they were🔥as usual. I have not try using oyster mushrooms though. I follow another youtuber who is mexican. I use her recipe. She calls them Birria de Res consome tacos. And she makes a Birria chili oil that she put on the tacos as she's frying them. OMG! She is not vegan. She uses a beef roast to make her Birria. So, l had to veganize her recipe. l always use textured veggie protien strips as my meat substitue and vegan beef or chicken bouillon( depending on which version I'm making) because my husband is not vegan. I have been vegan for 8yrs. My husband says he refuses to eat vegan food. Little does he know, that since we've been on quarantine 90% of the meals that l have been preparing have been vegan!🤣 l am going to try to make the oyster mushroom version next time. It looks delish!
