I tried these and liked them so much, I made a second batch! In the second batch, I swapped out a banana for steamed apple (one, cut up). I also soaked my dates in a bit of hot water. Instead of using plant milk, I used some water left from the apples and dates and it was plenty sweet! I didn't have quite enough quinoa and filled the gap with millet. Worked like a charm! This makes for a nice breakfast or quick snack! Thanks for the clever recipe!

Just made these brownies and they came out perfect. Who knew with quinoa? Guilt free. Gratitude to you, Amiee for yet another winner. Easiest plant based brownies made to date. And the dates I have were so soft already didn’t have to heat. All ingredients into blender and poured out like silk - thank you SO much🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Lol, "...you go for it..." Couple weeks back I made use of quinoa flour I have in cornbread. I really believe it made it taste top-notch pleasant. Sort of a flower taste or maybe herbal, yes, nutty, definitely whole... Definitely a must for me to use the Bob's Red Mill organic cornmeal (at least here in America) (your accent ?)

I tried this recipe and they came out so good! Instead of soaking the quinoa, I cooked it in the instapot and then put everything In my food processor. I didn't need the plant milk. I used a square silicone baking pan so they came out a little thinner and I baked them just a bit longer. They are amazing! Thank you !

I'm excited to try these. I'm on a super restrictive diet because of allergies. I have to cut out pb anything and as much as you all love chickpeas, I'm glad you didn't use them because they dont' love me. I didn't plan to go plant based because of my issues with legumes but corn is in everything including animal feed so here I am learning a whole new lifestyle. (and I've lost 15 pounds so far, which was a bonus not a plan.)

Hi Ami, I really enjoy your recipes and just made this one. It's gorgeous but just one thing, not at all properly set! 😕 Maybe I added too much almond milk? I used sweet potato instead of bananas as I didn't have any.
