Video doorbell security cameras are all the rage. But you'll be hard pressed to find a doorbell like this one. No recurring fees. No 30 or 60 day storage restriction. No fine print or hidden costs. Exceptional video quality and field of view.

Product Highlight Video: • 3MP Video Doorbell - N...
Setup Guide: • Video Doorbell Setup G...
The NSC-DB2 is the doorbell you've been looking for. Take control over your video storage with a MicroSD card (up to 128GB) or an NVR hard drive. Unlike expensive cloud storage plans that other doorbells require, you can start saving recorded videos right away with no hidden costs, no fine print, and no hassle.
Here are some of the incredible features that make this video doorbell stand out among the rest.
► Its crisp 3MP video resolution gives you more pixels than your average doorbell (most other video doorbells shoot in 1080p, or 2MP resolution)
► Its 180° Vertical Super Field of View will allow you to see a whole person, head to toe (most other video doorbells are 160° and horizontal)
► Add to your Network Video Recorder with its ONVIF compatibility
► Use as a standalone camera with its MicroSD card slot
►16 foot IR range
► Starlight sensor, so you may not even need the 16' IR range!
► PIR motion detection (you won't get false alarms)
► Push notifications for PIR events and doorbell rings
► Full duplex 2-way talk
► Three colored faceplates and three wedge mounts for flexible configurations
► DIY installation, simply hooks into your current doorbell's wiring
► Comes with all required hardware
► Simple setup using the EZVIZ application

Has anyone tried to record video to a Synology RAID? I successfully configured this doorbell camera to record to a Synology 1515+ RAID. I'm using Synology's Surveillance Station software. It took several attempts to create the profile, meaning the first few attempts failed (not sure why). The software finally accepted the profile after several tries so don't give up if the first few attempts fail. I'm loving that I can record 24/7 to my own storage device!! Thank you Nelly's Security for this camera! You're saving money for a lot of people!

How is the integrated WiFi antenna? The one on my ring sucks and it's maybe 30' from the AP in my house. Been thinking about cracking it open and modding the antenna but the latest firmware improved things but is still slow to notify and respond. Ideally I'd love a PoE option.

I use BI too and have for years. No ONVIF or RTSP stream intercept is a deal killer for me. I'm glad I stumbled across this video. The problem I have is the wireless connection. It has to be mounted on the outside of a brick wall on a metal door jamb and that really messes up the wifi connection. If you'd be so kind as to drop back and let me know how well yours connects I'd appreciate it.

@@acts9531 Howdy. Mine connects great over WiFi and mine is on the other side of a brick wall as well. A big part of WiFi is the quality of your WiFi hardware and coverage. I'm using a Netgear Orbi setup and it works well. I wouldn't use WiFi if I didn't need to however but with the doorbell there's not much of a choice unfortunately.

@@markh8921 It looks interesting but considering the DB2 has a vertical 180 degree view it sees the ground and vertical in one full 3mp video. I can state that the video stream is amazing quality and I would say superior to the Maximus. But the Maximus looks like a decent choice with some interesting features. As to motion detection the DB2 has this as well and has another neat feature where it dings upon detection to make the person face the camera. Not sure I'd want an announcement going off like that in my neighborhood. I doubt my neighbors would be happy :) Lastly the low light of the DB2 is also pretty stellar. How's the Maximus?

Santiago Draco The low light looks great on the Maximus.. As to the pre recorded message they can be disable at anytime..with that being said my neighbors love the fact that we have the Maximus Floodlight and doorbell cam that plays the pre recoded messages to help prevent crimial activity.. Again, its ALL about prevention...😁😁👍👍...✅

This is great. Two suggestions. First I'd want to change the led color during idle. Second I have a brick façade and had to rip open my skybell to pull the antenna and put on an extension cable to put it into the interior wall to get enough signal. Something here might be needed too.

Great doorbell and easy to install. The POE option would be nice, but in my case, near impossible to route a cable to the doorbell. The app is good but could use some fine tuning. So in comparing this against the competition you have to decide which is more important to you. Vertical or horizontal FOV. Do you want to see head to toe, or do you want to see what someone is doing to the left and right of your doorbell? 160 degrees horizontal is going to show much more left and right than the 105 degrees that this camera shows. Placement of your doorbell button relative to say where packages might be left by delivery services would come into play.
@jacksonfev

I have had this model for awhile. Overall, I like it. Pros: No cloud storage or fees Not tied to Amazon or some other giant Great video day/night quality (seriously) Easy setup Cons: Framerate is higher than my NVR so it really messes up my NVR playback (slows down playback of my other videos). Also can't control the camera nor use motion activated recording through my NVR. Solved by using the NSC-DB2 app separately. Requires a strong enough transformer for mechanical chimes. Purchase separately if needed. The app is TERRIBLE. -If someone rings the doorbell, it logs me out. By the time I login, most people have walked away. -The memory card gets full and even though I thought I was deleting the files, it actually wasn't. I pulled the card out and saw the files on my computer. Deleted and it worked fine again. I reformat every few weeks, that seems to delete the recordings. -Sometimes the app simply doesn't work until I restart it a couple of times. Despite the flaws, the camera itself is great. It's mainly the EZVIZ app that is absolutely terrible. In comparison, my NVR app has none of these issues.

@santiagodraco
@santiagodraco 4 жыл бұрын
It would be nice but it's not necessary. There are lots of other ways to open a door lock remotely. Having it integrated would be cool but considering the poor quality options available that do that today you'd be sacrificing the important stuff (video quality, viewing angle, speed and reliability) for removing a step of opening another app on your phone. Plus if you are clever you can easily set your phone to open a door for you with just your voice when needed as I have currently both with Google Home and Amazon Echo.

Does it work with any of the smart home hubs? Alexa, Google Home, Apple Homekit? Personally I didn’t love the image. The lens looks ordinary and very distorted to try and get around the limitations of the sensor and the video was breaking up a bit even in the test footage you showed. On the plus side it looks dead simple to install for anyone with an existing hard wired doorbell.

@mondotv4216
@mondotv4216 4 жыл бұрын
Nelly's Security Yeah it seems OK, but I think anything that doesn’t allow you to see who’s at the front door on a smart home hub is not that convenient. So it fills the role of a security camera while you’re not at home quite nicely but lacks the power and functionality of a smart home device which can be integrated with smart locks etc. For me it doesn’t work in the scenario where my wife is home alone, someone rocks up to the front door and rings the doorbell and she’s got to search for her smartphone (which could be in her handbag, or even a bedroom), call up the app just to see who’s there and potentially let them in or deny entry. As opposed to say the Eufy and a Google Home Nest hub where they’ll just pop up on the screen instantly with the ability to either talk to them or not and perhaps remotely open the front door with a voice command. Am I missing some hidden functionality?

TOPVICO TP-109WCP WIFI DOORBELL Camera I have a great idea!!! For renters who can't drill holes or put in screws. Then why don't you do some reviews of door bell cameras that use the existing peep hole in your door that most apartments have. Those "Ring" type cameras are nice BUT you either have to screw them down or use double sided sticky tape. We all know how good sticky tape works! You end up with your "Ring Type" door bell stolen. I recently found a peep hole doorbell camera that fits the renters profile at Ali-Express TOPVICO TP-109WCP WIFI DOORBELL Camera I found a few non talking videos out there but nothing in reviews. The renters market is HUGE and when you leave that apartment suite and could uninstall the doorbell camera and put the old peep hole back leaving no physical damage. Now THAT would amazing. How many apartment suites and rented homes are there in North America as opposed to owned homes? I bet it is at least 3 to 1. I found the: TOPVICO TP-109WCP WIFI DOORBELL Camera but don't know as to the quality of it. Or maybe there others that would be better. Remember the idea is to use the existing peephole to leave no permanent damage. PS -- Even if an apartment suite door has no peephole, ALMOST no owners or management companies would object to you installing a cheap standard peephole in the door anyway. Hope you can find something. Thanks Gary
