Nice pickups! I only bought 17 records this year, but they’re all rare 90s stuff or 70s Japanese reissues.

Elvis records have been very very good for my pocket, but I have never found that first album! I've found that most of my buyers are much more concerned about the vinyl than the jackets or the sleeves, so I'm with you on that one. I remember partying to the Canned Heat album in the '60s while ingesting various substances. As an old prep school boy who had to take Latin, I believe "Vincebus" is pronounced VIN-chay-boos.

Addendum: Long ago, my daughter got me the Rush "Different Stages" CD. What a compendium! They are one band that sounds every bit as excellent live as in the studio. I believe John Prine would be listed under that new "Americana" genre that has been floating around in this decade. Back when I was substitute teaching, I had a fourth-grader whose parents had immersed her in Led Zeppelin, so one day I brought in Led Zeppelin II for her to examine carefully. Sometimes the kids are all right, as The Who would say.

enjoyed the video. i buy and sell records in south louisiana. ive seen and had all them albums. nazareth that album is the ONLY one that sells by them. glad to hear the name frank marino, GREAT guitar player. i was on the road one time and talking with a old record guy. and he told me a story about frank marino. dont know if its true. he said jimi hendrix used to live in a apartment down a alley. and a guy used to dig thru the garbage cans . making alot of noise. and used to wake up jimi. so he talked to the guy and asked him to stay out of his garbage cans. i guy said i will, if you show me how you play that guitar, so they made a deal, the guy was frank marino. rush great band, they were all GENIUS. they all went to college for music. and when you say best drummer neil perit, best bass player geddy lee, best guitar player, alex leifson, ALL GREAT GUYS.
