I did my blood test yesterday after 5 weeks of 100% no carbohydrates no sugar no fruits no starch no red meat diet. My Liver panel test result shown AST , ALT , GGT level all perfect! Far from its top range. Just 5 weeks. My fatty liver is reversed to healthy normal. I lost 4-5kg just from dieting and stop eating after 7pm till next day lunch. 2 meals a day. Only boiled using water, steam Fish , tofu , cabbage broccoli veggies , chicken breast , black coffee no sugar for afternoon lunch and green tea no sugar during evening dinner not later than 7pm. After 7pm I fast till next day lunch 12pm. The fasting time is extremely important as this time allows digestion and some hunger which makes our body burn the fat within without exercising. Exercising barely able to reach the fat around our liver. So fasting is the effective way. I had No milk (contain high fat and high sugar) . No snacks. No all kind of bread which still are carbohydrates. No cake. No biscuits. No rice. No noodles. No fruits especially as it’s fructose are directly process only by our liver! Just 5 weeks and fatty liver is back to normal with proven liver function blood test compared to my previous test result 5 weeks ago. I feel very lively light and positive. I lost 5kg. Also My cholesterol and sugar level were also extremely good blood test result! I m looking way younger and my body is nicer too. I m 33 years old male. Non smoker non alcoholic. Didn’t work in a toxic environment. I didn’t exercise. But I ate much rice , fatty red meat, and milk and cookies and fruits. I slept late before. Now I kicked those bad habit n bad diet. After recovered from fatty liver, I continue my way of eating n fasting n sleeping time. I reintroduced some healthy carbohydrates back into my diet. Such as some corn carrot , some wheat bread, a little potatoes. Please make sure u do not overdo it. I really mean only some. Lack of discipline and taking it for granted will cause regrets. I’m sharing for mankind and for those who were helpless from useless doctors. And I’m sharing in memory of my late father who passed away due to end stage liver disease.

I started Ketogenic/Ketovore/Carnivore diet 4 months ago. I have lost 8kg but my belly fat is still there. 2 months ago I started taking ACV and it has been 10 weeks now. I did a blood test a few days ago and my ALT has dropped from 34 to 26 but my AST remained high from 32 to 33. Therefore the ratio AST/ALT is 1.269 which indicates I might have cirrhosis. How is that possible when I have changed my diet? I have been eating beef, chicken, butter, ghee, macadamia nuts, salmon, sunflower seeds, seafood and recently I started introducing cabbage and cauliflower to my diet. I only drink water. The supplements that I am taking daily are Vit D3 5000 ius, Vit K2 MK7 45mcg, Vit B Complex, Magnesium Citrate 100mg, Omega-3 Fish oil, Saffron 2020 (for my eye) and Keto Electrolyte 5ml. Given a typical American Diet, most people in America have some form of fattiness to their liver. It's just how society is. The _degree_ of fattiness is the variable between ppl. That said, The fattiness of the liver are "gallstones" in the liver. They develop over the decades of our life. These Liver "gall" stones, live in the bile ducts of the liver and are made of cholesterol. That's the fat in fatty liver. These stones block discharge of all kinds of toxins and are themselves highly toxic. Even normal people are VERY congested with 10,000s or 100,000s of liver fatty stones of various sizes, 0.5mm - 5cm and maybe larger. I've seen 3cm stones from my own liver. The best way to reduce the fattiness of the liver is to directly discharge the liver "gall"stones. This is not medical advice. Here are the directions for directly discharging fatty liver stones and getting unblocked... look up "amaxzing livxer flushx proxtocol" on david-wolfe dota coma. (spelling errors intentional b/c of YT censorship) My liver has been discharging very slowly over the last 6 years. I have seen aspects of my body reverse age, eg. my gray hairs are turning colored again, and skin sun spots are nearly all gone. My joints healed of very low grade arthritis that i didn't even know i had. You know that pleasant itchy feeling of a small cut healing? imagine that in all your joints. one by one, over 8 months, starting at your belly button and slowly radiating out to each join until you feel it at the tips of your fingers and toes.

I’m so happy I found you! I’m here and first before I get started, I want to admit that I was eating everything without knowing how it would affect me later. I found out that I have a fatty liver so I started walking 5 miles a day but I realized that I was gaining weight instead of losing weight. By listening to you today I promise to myself that I will take action now and continue to do the right things concerning my health. Should I continue my 5 mile walk even though I don’t see any change in weight loss?
@silvergreylion Жыл бұрын
You're probably gaining weight, because you're gaining muscle mass. Muscles are mostly made of protein, which is more dense than fat. So yes, do keep exercising, but also make sure you're getting everything needed for your liver: Choline (deficiency builds fatty liver, getting enough reduces it), Vitamin B3 (as nikotinic acid, not nicotinamide) but also all B-vitamins, particularly B1 and B12), and keep carbs to a minumum. Avoid high-fructose fruits and vegetables, maltodextrin, and nicotinamide. Common sugar is also known as sucrose; it's a disaccharide which splits into fructose and glucose. If you want to make it go faster, maybe order some Tudca, NAC, silymarin (or make tea from milk thistle seeds).

Dear Dr. Berg, I have 2 questions: 1.Would you please let us know which form of Choline you recommend for fatty liver disease? Bitartrate, Citrate, CDP or Alpha-GCP? 2. Ingredients Labels list (example) Choline Bitartrate 650mg = 260mg Choline. To get to 3grams are we going by the raw bitartrate at 650mg or the Choline produced at 260mg? Thank you for all your videos, I am very grateful.

Dr Berg... 3grms is equal to 3000mg.... choline capsules are available in 300mg so should I take 10 capsules per day.... please help

Thank you so much for your hard work breaking down the science and these concepts for people. I used to drink a lot but quit. Three years ago I had a nissan fundoplication for acid reflux, the surgeon noted that I do have a enlarged fatty liver so today I got some Choline. I'm working with my primary care doctor and am now on a high fiber diet, walking daily, and with choline I hope to at least undo some of the damage I've done to my body and to live a healthier life.

I can't use phosphatidylcholine for my liver because it is made from estrogenic soybeans and actually makes me sick. I just put egg yolks in everything from sauces, ice cream, pudding, on top of eating eggs every morning. I add about 10 yolks to my pudding and get 3 serving out of it.

Dr. Berg, I applaud and thank you for this very insightful/helpful videos. I have been diagnosed with NAFLD for sometime now but am not the norm case, for I don’t drink, eat very healthy and exercise regularly for my age(55). I have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease(Polymyositis), at 25yrs ago and have been receiving treatment since. I have a question that I hope reaches you…Does smoking Marijuana contribute to Fatty Liver Disease? I follow your vids and am eating/taking most of your suggested remedies, Choline, green detox smoothie, eggs, turmeric, milk thistle, dandelion supplements as well as other supplements you have advised. Overall just curious for the information. Again thank you, and I hope this reaches you. May peace be with you.

I also have NAFLD for a while now and autoimmune disease (Fibromyalgia) But I'd think because of the fact that Marijuana has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that are believed to relieve pain in the liver, And lowers your risk of NAFLD, I'm a daily marijuana smoker and i find it helps me alot, help's with the pain as well. I believe they need more research before answering accurately!
