The BEST Volibear & Aurelion Sol Deck in the Game - Legends of Runeterra

This Standard Aurelion Sol & Volibear deck only wants to RAMP and get to late mana turns. Cheat mana with Sigil of the Storm and Winter's Touch to play the big dragon or the big bear. I played multiple different versions of this deck and the code might be slightly different than the one in the video, but I believe the one linked below to be the version right now.

Volibear in Parh is a lot of fun! Fair warning is that the 2-star power is slightly misleading. When you use sigils to summon a titanic unit that kills on strike, the sigil summon gets absorbed into your current stack and is destroyed. A normal summon kill adds a sigil as intended, however.

Hats off to the LOR team for making pretty balanced ramp. And the ramp being temporary prevents the deck from just being mono green devotion, where a llanowar elf becomes a kiora, then becomes a karn, then constant storm the festivals and karnboard plays that specifically shut down your deck. Also day 5 for asking for janna vayne.

I think he's talking about white aggro decks, like Knights. I remember one of the first decks I made was a Knight deck that aimed to swarm the board, then use Knight Exemplar to utterally demolish any opposition. Not the mention the various pump spells I ran. It actually was pretty strong, I think I still have it. Basically it's a white aggro deck that just plays high value units to hit face and end quickly.@@cl0k3

Demacia might be a great region for Voli as well, you have Big Cithria and the 8/8 mageseeker along with Mageseeker Junior to stall out fast deck like Janna and Samira. Not to mention the fact that you have Judgement means you can very easily level up Voli there.

At the end of game 3, we can see that Riot forgot about the an old bug. The one where you could summon a unit on the bench while having 6 units attacking, making the rightmost attacking unit obliterated after the fight. This time, it is with landmarks. The code must haven't be prepared for that interaction. Tho we already had the sand boarder summoning roiling sands on summon.

Someone probs said it already but no they don't count for malph level up. It was the first thing I tried this patch. I hope riot changes that cause I really wanted it to work. The real issue is that even if they did you would still struggle to level malphite with just the sigils. So if they do change it to count then you would need a few more landmarks. If riot did want to make malph voli a deck, the temple to true ice card could be changed to grow health to power or power to health (so to make your 5\10 an 10/10 or 8/4 an 8/8). I haven't thought that idea through toooo much so idk how balanced it would be but it would be a fun one.

Yea. I tried to build this deck day 1 but my deck building skills were to be desired. Glad to have a polished version. But one thing that i was unfortunately right about is that giving every region a 2 mana destroy a landmark is way to annoying. I see one of those explorer dudes and I'm like... "great theres little ti no point to play the Sigil cards noe besides leveling chip up" Like jt honestly sucks. And not only that. It also gives weapon removal. It heals 2 and it can shut down a units keywords for 2 turns? Nah. I'll be honest i hate the explorer cards. Every region already had a landmark or equipment removal but now they have it for free with a unit that is probably decent in most cases. Like the 2/3 challenger or the 2/2 lifesteal or the 1/4 elusive. 1) you should pick 1 out of 2 cards in the explorer pull. Not just "pick what ever you like". Never in my life would I think I'd defend RNG. 2) make the destruction spells 3/4 mana. At least rhe up side is that i can destroy Janna's temple for 2 mana. But rip mono shurima decks Or jax... or vayne decks. Not rip but they certainly took a big hit.
