I can’t wait to try this !!!!! The wisp brush does to the painting what a scarf does to a dress : another scarf makes another outfit ! A completely different and interesting look!!!!! Were the pen marks necessary ? No. Are they too much ? No. They add to the already great effect of the brush. It’s a good thing they are very fine and subtle. Thanks for this idea !!!!!

Love it! You can try adding granulation medium to your watercolors. It should produce a granulated effect. And you may like Qor watercolors. They use their proprietary mixing medium which disperses the pigments in the water unlike any other brand of watercolors. They have the most vibrant colors, they are truly amazing!

I honestly don’t know. It’s something I have not tried yet. But I would suggest trying to mix your own granulating colors and using granulating watercolors such as ultramarine as one of the base colors.

I have been using the W&N Granulation Medium for years and.yes you use it as you would use clean water to wet your paint...either tube paint or pan paint...I find that a little goes a long way so you can use it sparingly...Good luck! Rus from Bucks County Pennsylvania 🖌🎨❤️

Beautiful:). Love it. For granulating colours I've been using daniel smith primatek...or you can get granulating medium from winsor newton, it's only about 10eur and you can add it to any paint. Love the painting! What a neat brush. I like that you added the black pen also - liked the added detail. Very nice! I just bought Schminkes but have not tried them yet - disappointed they are not granulating. 😞

Have you tried the White Nights Granulation watercolour set . It's 12 full pans (they are mostly darker colours) I bought my set on Amazon UK although they were shipped from Europe in November. They were about £35.00. I really love them, beautiful granulation. I love the painting, beautiful.💜💜Happy New Year!
