One thing to note about fleets! Fleets commonly drop 1-5 ritual skulls if you loot every ship (25 doubloons with grade 5 reaper), on top of the ashen chests this is by far the best strat, especially because you are near guaranteed a grade 5 reaper on completing a fleet

You also could use the ritual skulls for fotd and get reaper chests

Since most people will use doubloons for the skull of destiny, I recommend using your ritual skulls first, since the flame the skull emits can reveal shadow skeleton

Fyi - the ashen key, ashen chest and skull voyages bought for doubloons do not work at Morrow's Peak. Meaning, if you think you're going to be able to dig those up on the outpost, think again. They only work on outposts that aren't Morrow's...learned that the hard way.

I've never gotten fewer than 3 chests from the boss ship of the skeleton fleet. But, I only get two keys and am too lazy to look for a third since I solo the fleets.

I need some tips on soloing skelly fleets, it's the only world event that I can't solo every time. When the two galleons come up, I get into the same problem where eventually im just panic bailing and I can't even stop to repair or shoot back. What's your strat?

@@benciudovchgottdank3460 Well, you no longer face 2 galleons when solo. You face sloop, sloop, galleon. After soloing several times, I now cheese it by hanging out in the calm waters around the pirate lair. The reason is more about finishing quickly than anything else. The longer you fight, the higher the likelihood that some multi-player ship will try to sink you.

@@benciudovchgottdank3460 To answer your original question, I would pile the damage into one galleon at spawn. Then, retreat and let it sink. Then, fight the other.

When I do voyage Skelton forts, I only get the ashen chest and pay from the guardian. There’s never a second chest in the vault

I started a fleet through raid with nerchant alliance and i didnt get any ashen chests or skulls that are worth dubbloons doesnt it only works if you go to a fleet if it spawns in your world

Just run fleets as a reaper. They drop plenty of Ashen chests and the keys for them and you get plenty of other loot to go along with it

you found the gold one, which is called a reaper’s bounty. those are marked on the map with a gold icon, and they’ll only reward gold. you’re looking for the red one, which is a reaper’s chest, and that one gives you doubloons. good luck!

Why bother?? Theres nuttin to spend em on any damn way unless your a noob player!! Rare did NOT tacklle this issue. Oooooohhhhhh i can purchase voyages now with my over 82k doubloons yaaaay thanks rare. Exactly what the players that been playin for years wanted. If you was here in season 1 you still got nuttin to spend doubloons on FFS!! Video sounds great but its very wrong. Give us a set like DA set thats super expensive but costs doubloons & actually give us something to buy with doubloons. Everything rare do now is for newer players & a slap in the face to old players.
