Do they need to be full sun to grow fruit?? Even in Florida? Really good info, thanks! I have some I've done from the store and just got some cool varieties from a nursery!

Full sun to part shade is best.... but even with just a few hours of sun they will fruit, just takes an extra year or two.

As with any other plants, general slow release fertilizer, composts, etc etc etc.

What do you do with mature plants that have already fruited and have no more pups. They are green and healthy but they stop fruiting. Will they ever fruit again?

They only produce one time... and then of course pups will produce, if the mother stops producing pups, it's just a waste of space at that point, but I'd give it at least 12 full months to make that decision

Your yellow plants are desperately short on iron. You make it clear you prefer a hands off approach but those plants are just neglected. Good gardeners pay attention to what their plants tell them and respond accordingly. Anybody can just toss pineapple crowns in dirt and get a couple fruits down the road. A healthy pineapple patch looks very different than these crowded yellow plants in tiny pots
