I'm currently hoarding my osmium ore to make as many bombs to make geode mining less boring and time consuming(especially since I'm just missing ONE GEM), but I've definitely used it to bulk up my funds to buy seeds for the next season/buy my master net/rod and it's such a good money maker

you better enchant your pickaxe instead with rare drop-extradrop-hitdrop combination or raredrop-extradrop-swiftswing combination, pickaxing with enchanted tools give you more geode and chance to get gems instead of bombing which is only use normal drop rate

For those trying the osmium ore tip, just a heads up that you need a tons of it for the barrel and for the automatic chest. So if you like to make money by artisan, you need a lot it and automatic chest helps A LOT! So i suggest to keep it instead of selling it. Not worth it for early gaming imo. And its a bit of a grind to get ore, at least for me.

Unfortunately osmium ore has been nerfed, selling for half the price in the video, however, smelting it into bars each Osmium bar sells for 1500

@@bat9902 Sadly in my experience with early access, the devs tend to nerf anything that is really profitable. One reason I quit playing. I’m trying it again now that the official release is out but I’m still dubious. I very much want to like this game,

Hello, I had a question or two about the game: - First: When will the game be available "in full"? When will the "early access" period end? (If it's approximate, no worries). - Second question: Is the game based on 1 year = 365 days, or 1 year = an in-game duration? This is a matter of debate in the community around this kind of game, so I wanted to know whether, for example, the "Spooky Festival" would take place in October, during the Halloween period with an update (as in "Animal Crossing New Horizon") or in a random moment of the game based on the year in the game (as in "Story of Seasons" I think). - Finally: Do you recommend starting the game now, or waiting until development is "finished"? I've always wanted to play this kind of game, but unfortunately I've never dared to start... "Coral Island" is a real favorite, with its innovative gameplay based around the sea and polution as well as the farm! The graphics are truly magnificent! However, some people advise me to start with more "classic" games: "Stardew Valley", "Story of Seasons" or "Harvest Moon". So I'm not sure what to do, and I look forward to your advice. Hello! I can answer your questions! 1. They’re aiming for end of 2023, but that’s a very rough estimate seeing as there are still a lot of features they want to release. It may extend to 2024. 2. 1 year = in game. its similar to the other farming sim games :) 4 seasons = 1 year 3. That depends on your preference really. Right now there’s a lot of content for you to discover on your own in the game but there’s still some bugs that the current users have been reporting. e.g. torn pages can be found but its limited to only 2 pages at the moment, so duplicates are useless You can still play the game and decorate your farm to your heart’s content though.

I'm a bit late but there's no way to harvest them, however if you complete the rare gem alter you can get a duplicating machine.

Are there any uses for osmium other than to sell/store them? I think that as you are currently not able to upgrade to osmium tools yet so if thats the case, I will sell them all!! Just need to get to the bottom of the fire gate

I have all osmium tools! You can def use it for upgrades now, and I think the highest quality fertilizer might use osmium, too

You can use osmium to upgrade your tools and craft explosives. I believe there will be some items that will need osmium bars to craft in the future - so I would just hold on to some extra bars/ore, but then sell the rest!

@@sarahsunstone yeah, I am currently going down the fire gate using a silver pickaxe (with enchantments) as a challenge and will upgrade after I finished all of the gates. Will save at least 50 osmium ore.
