I don't know if DF will see this, but the small and big gifts don't affect the end chest, they are just items to give your followers for loyalty. Also the weapon icon you see on the map mainly just means combat rooms instead of a resource room.

Quick tip: enemy health scales independent of your weapon unlocks, meaning if you power level you can beat the second boss in 2 loops of the level XVII Axe Combo.

DF when using an ability like flaming shot you get the charging arrow, and if you release the charge when it's in the rectangle about 3/4 way, it'll deal more damage.

Enemies can't do touch damage, they have to attack you back 30% level bonus for killing the boss without taking damage, 50% if no damage on the level

I find daggers are the best weapons in the game. Low damage, but fast attack, and it procs special effects a lot. A poisoned dagger in this game *eats* boss health bars like popcorn.

Pretty sure df didn't go the resurrection route, you could pretty much sacrifice old age follower and resurrect them brand new, theres also ritual cost reduction and cooldown building that can be unlocked

Day 98 of recommending "The Perfect Tower 2", it’s a semi-idle incremental tower defense game, where you upgrade your tower, with a lot of things to do! p.s. you get to kill a lot of cubes, and if u grind to late game...well i wont ruin the surprise

@@Toksyuryel Its base building, aesthetics and combat? Absolutely. But its not seeming very replayable. As in, after all Heretics have been beaten and you start a new save file, the gameplay progression will be almost identical, unlike Hades and Dead Cells which are roguelikes that add content and variety to subsequent runs and make every playthrough fresh, as different item loadouts and map layouts force players to tackle levels differently. CotL, however, will always just be: gather resources, beat the bosses, end the game. The items don't necessarily add much to the game, and I am not aware of any post-game content. Hence why I'm waiting. I definitely WILL buy this game, but I'm still waiting for more, and if not, I'm waiting for it to be less pricey. After all, I've played Hollow Knight, a game half the price of this, which I got a third of its original price during a sale. Can't blame me for being a little bit stingy with my hard-earned money, even if it is just 20+ in USD.
