The American T18E2 Boarhound is an incredibly strong low tier vehicle. It has practically no downsides besides mediocre armor, but even that is good enough to resist autocannons. Thanks to its stabilizer, fast reload rate, high penetration, and high damage, it is a breeze to use. It was my go-to for gathering footage when I made more scripted videos.

Britain has no filler because the entire tech-tree's-worth went into the HESH shells for the FV4005 and Centurion AVRE clearly lmao - I think with a bit of practice and some experience though the British 6-pounder, while obviously not quite as easy to use as the US version with its filler, can still be pretty nasty. It never gets old when a Panzer IV shows you 0.1% of its angled side armour and the 6-pounder chomps straight through it without stopping

War Thunder's wheeled vehicles are so fucked for traction/acceleration off-road; lack of torque specifications. AMX-10RC is slower off-road than the tracked vehicles it outperforms IRL for no discernable reason.

You should play the 2.3 Russian T-80, it has the mobility of a German super heavy, a turret that takes a full hour to rotate 90°, the armor of a truck and a gun that is almost as good as a .50 cal. The pinnacle of Russian engineering!

Is that the same tank I can get? Turret is slow but not the worst of the bunch, it actually has gun depression and front armor can protect you from bad guns (e.g. the garbage Italian 47mm and the once-ruthless 20mm APCR). Only thing I hate about it is the ton of hull rocking as if you're on a swing

I remember this thing being *3.3* back in the day, and still take it up even to 7.7, where it does alright and even *well* sometimes, especially on urban maps. I've long held that the 6-pdr is pound for pound one of the best weapons in the game, and stabilized with APHE it becomes unstoppable.

I highly recommend the ZSD63/PG87, I don't know what it is about it but I never seem to get one shot in it, it's ridiculously survivable and the HE belt obliterates aircraft

Back when the harpoon was 3.0(or was it 3.3) that, the t18, greyhound, and m8a1 along with any other US light you wanted to bring (m22, m24) was just such an absurdly powerful lineup at that BR Rush flank, get 5 kills, get harpoon, drop six sea mines for another 5 kills, back into it with the m8a1

I would say the 6pdr is one of the best guns in the game, even the british version without the HE-filler. Crusader mk III is probably one of my favorite tanks in the game. Would be awesome to see you play it, and hear your thoughts on it.

Hello! I also have a tank suggestion: the Cromwell I. It is incredebly fast and mobile as long as you don't use the reverse gear and also gets a stabilised 6pdr. It doesn't have any explosive filler, but I find that that often does not matter. It has got a good lineup too and is simply one of my favourite tanks in the game.

Yes In real life the 6-pounder had great pen, but past 500-yards the 75mm was better, and it had a more useful HE charge.

4:12 so true, I always feel proud whenever I kill a Sdkfz 140/1 knowing that my team won't have to deal with it anymore, the 20mm is really good and the Pz.35 chassis it has somehow makes it much more difficult to pen; all they have to do is angle and most shots won't do anything.

All these limited time event vehicles should be able to be earned in a way similar to squadron vehicles, with a 'unique RP' that isn't dependent on you playing a particular tech tree. If you wanted to gate their access a little maybe make various selections available in seasons but each vehicle guaranteed to show up every 12/18 months. If they wanted to make some money they could put a daily cap on non-premium earnings towards them so you might only get a couple vehicles per season at most. If metagaming were an issue you could add bonus/penalty for under/overstacked nations, I remember long ago WoW had a 'call to arms' reward for playing underrepresented roles in dungeons... But no, they add a cash market (that they take a cut from) where people sell artificially scarce vehicles for hundreds of dollars.

First the round bounces of the angled front plate, then it somehow penetrates the flat upper front plate, and then somehow manages to bounce off the roof of the dmachine gunners hatch before then detonating and killing the crew. It's not only strong in GRB but also a hassle in Airsim. The crew is spaced out so no single shot will wipe them out (either turrent or driver-radioman kill), ammo is hard to explode and just as unlikely that fuel tanks-engine catches fire (main method of killing armored targets). And you have entire fields of them slowly rolling forward.

The only singular downside to this thing is the absence of a TC .50. At this BR the .50 goes crazy hard against air targets and a lot of surface targets too.

M5A1 is by far my favorite low tier American tank. Mobility, reload, trolly armor can scout, only thing it lacks is an aphe but you can always load up a sap round for pesky light skinned targets.

If you love to dunk on planes with tank shells, play the 2S3M. You do the good old bait & switch : you use your roof MG, then you obliterate them with the HE-VT shell.

I strongly recommend you try the French AMR.35 ZT3 (Br 1.0) It's potential is very high, cannon can pen pretty much anyone's front plate, it's like the L3/33's bigger brother! Hope to see this soon

The only reason this and the M8 Greyhound are rare for US players is because Gaijin arbitrarily made the two premiums on account of being wheeled vics (I guess), and from what I can gather, premiums you can't get anymore without spending an excessive amount of real money for.
