I really enjoyed Doctor Sleep. It was completely different than the original, but in a good way. The worst parts were all the callbacks to the original, frankly. It could've just been its own thing. The way they handled the mind stuff and the "projecting" was super cool.

I enjoyed Clerks 3 for what it was. Nothing special, but a nice tribute to the others, made in the same style, wrapping up the story.

Please someone get Adam a seat 🤣 poor guy standing for so long! But in all seriousness, my favourite legacy sequels are Top Gun: Maverick as it pays homage to the original with a sprinkle of nostalgia but very much is original and does its own thing. I also like the fact it respects its legacy character unlike a certain franchise (looking at you Last Jedi) and doesn’t try to shit on his main character to try shoehorn its new characters in. In my opinion, it’s the GOAT legacy sequel. Bladerunner 2049 - Great movie, Harrison Ford best performance in my opinion. Again it has nostalgia elements but it doesn’t rely on nostalgia and Dennis very much does his own thing. Some good runner ups for me are Mad Max 2015. I think Fury Road is one of the best action movies of all time. And finally, Doctor Sleep. Some may not class this as a legacy sequel as complete new cast, but it’s very much situated in Kubrick 1980 universe and we return to the 1980 cinematic overlook hotel, so I will class this as a legacy sequel.

Hah...I have watched BASIC INSTINC twice in VHS and in 720p, I can tell that Sharon Stone never did exposed her lady parts rather it's a suit with prints...Meh IT'S NOT HER VAHOOHAH!!!
