Oh, most certainly! He'd have to do it with one best and worst per game, whether Robot Masters, or Weapons. No World games, except 5 because Stardroids, and no PC games or Challenger from the Future, because they're not canon. Strategy neither, because you only have that lousy Mega Buster and friends once you get them, such as Proto Man, Auto, Duo, and Eddie.

One of my all time favorites, too. I completed it 3 times within the week before Odyssey's release. I was excited, alright. x) 4:41 I hate waiting so much I eventually found out you can reach the second moving platform by triple jumping from the bottom level. x) Or is that just the DS remake? I love Hazy Maze Cave, it always felt mysterious to me. Plus I can't resist that Dorrie design. The Toxic Maze used to scare me as a kid, I only properly explored it by the time I became a teenager. I swear, everyone of the first few games I ever played had at least one thing that terrified me. Sometimes several x) Anyone else's mind was friggin' blown once they realised they could simply WALK up the pillars in Dry Dry Desert? x) Akshuhlee... Capless Mario takes one extra unit of damage, not double ;) Tiny Huge Island is usually the stage that wrecks me in any given playthrough. It's like the pits start gaining magnetic properties as soonas I reach 80+ coins x) I hate both of the last two stages. They're annoying in terms of how much retreading you have to do. And also very anticlimactic to me : the final, hardest levels in the game... use the bonus level track which you can hear within five minutes after booting up the game. Lame! x) I do like their concepts, though. I feel Rainbow Ride would have looked so much better with a starry background. Show of hands, how many have died to the purple guy on that one platform reached with the ship's cannon?

Yes, I completely agree with your opinions on Snowman's Land. I honestly love this stage, a lot more so than Cool Cool Mountain. It sucks that people always trash on this level for being too "Simplistic", despite all of the cool things designed into the level. For example, triple jumping over those moving platforms is so fun, and I had fond memories of doing that sequence in particular as a kid. Obviously, the best "Snow" levels come from stages in games like Banjo Kazzoie "Freezeezey Peak" and Banjo Tooie "Halfire Peaks" (Snow Side). But either way, Snowmans Land is without a doubt one of the most underrated stages in my opinion.

I got to play Super Mario 64 before it was released outside of Japan. My father worked for a company called Cybersmith, they sold time that you could spend on video game consoles and internet. They bought a Japanese N64 shortly after it's release along with a copy of Super Mario 64. Before the public was able to have access to the system he brought my brother and I so that we could play it. He also invited a foreign exchange student that he and my mother hosted from Japan. She was able to interpret what the signs said so we could know the controls and play the game. It was alot of fun.

@TheMGMfan5 жыл бұрын
2:44 Apparently, you have to get close to the eel, swim away, and then swim back, and the eel leaves offscreen. My question is why this is the first star; it's a fusion between the treasure chest and eel stars, and it makes both of them more challenging (especially the chest one, where you have to get the right order underwater and therefore under a time limit), so wouldn't it make sense to put it after those? The only reason I can think of is that getting this star makes the ship float to the surface, which is required to get two of the red coins and therefore get that star.

While I knew about the trick in Tick Tock Clock, I never realized the one about Wet Dry World, or even Mario losing his hat causing 2x the damage. Also, yes, I agree with you on Rainbow Ride. It made me hate the stage song for so long until people started using it in trolls in Mario Maker.

My favorite stages are Whomp’s Fortress, Bobomb Battlefield, and Tiny Huge Island. These stages capture the feel of old school Mario to me. Maybe it’s because these stages are full of more familiar enemies like koopas, whomps, goombas, etc. as opposed to newer enemies, but they just have that fun feel to them. My least favorites are Rainbow Ride, Shifting Sands Land, Dire, Dire Docks and the linear Bowser Stages (I’m putting all three of them into 1 category). I’m actually surprised this guy put Snowman’s Land above Cool, Cool Mountain. This might be the first time I’ve seen someone rank that level higher. I like both levels a lot, though I I think Snow Man’s Land is easier than Cool, Cool Mountain, so I rank Cool Mountain higher

Same. Until I slap myself across the face once I get to the star that requires stuff to actually be moving x)
@TheMGMfan5 жыл бұрын
@@VonFirflirch Actually, it's possible to get every star in this level while it's still if you're skilled enough; the Thwomp star, for example, can be obtained with either a well executed triple jump on the top minute hand and dive to the conveyor belt before the Thwomp, and a wall kick from a side jump allows you to get on the triangular platform that you would otherwise have to wait on the moving platform to get to, which is impossible when it's still.
@githon15415 жыл бұрын
My favorite is rainbow ride… nobody but me likes it. ;-; Tick tock clock is my second favorite though.
@patriciam19324 жыл бұрын
What about the fact that there's a heave-ho on that stage and if he gets near you he'll throw you off the stage and there is two coin blocks next to him so if you want the 100 coin Star you have to purposely avoid him and there's also the fact that if you make one mistake most of the time you're going to die and start all over

I would love if Nintendo made a Super Mario collection for the Switch to celebrate Mario's 35th anniversary! It could feature titles such as: Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Land, Super Mario Bros 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, New Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Super Mario Galaxy 2. I know that's a lot, but if they are able to do it or make some sacrifices, then it would be a worthy celebration of 35 years of Super Mario, when we are already getting a sequel to Mario's 30th Anniversary game later this week!

I honestly take issue with the notion that using warps to skip the whole level, every single time you play, somehow constitutes "mastering" a level. You aren't doing a speedrun. Skipping content just because you can is laziness, or disinterest in actually playing the game, not mastery. edit: do you have ADHD? Not meaning that maliciously, it's just what occurred to me after how consistently you based your preferences on whether a star was fast and simple or not....
