Super Mario 63 is one of the best fanmade Mario games out there. Great concept, great execution, and many people who I've seen videos from that reviewed it agree with me. This is the first one that I've seen that calls it a bad one. Same with Mario Kombat. It's not that hard, and neither is Mario Kombat. I easily beat those two back when I was like eleven years old or so.

Super Mario Bros. Crossover as a concept sounds silly but its execution is superb. Caz NES Remix is technically that. Oh and on the subject of Capcom not supporting the Switch, I'm more miffed that The Disney Afternoon Collection isn't on *any* Nintendo system for that matter. The Switch was still in its infancy by the time that game released. But I would have preferred a 3DS port like Mega Man Legacy Collection. It kinda bends me out of shape when a game originally made for a Nintendo console gets a port or remake that isn't on a Nintendo console. They remastered Wild Guns and it was for PS4. What?

Yeah. It played smoothly for the most part and if you have a decent computer, you won't encounter too many annoying glitches. It could definitely be polished, though. Tinkering with the code or a remake would do it justice.

That's...actually a really good question. Especially considering the Level Editor is arguably one of the best parts of Mario 63. Seriously it was practically one of the best ways to make custom Mario levels long before Mario Maker was even a glimmer in Miyamoto's eye.

You know, I was half-expecting this comment section to be 90% people lyching you about putting Mario Combat and Mario 63 on the "Bad" part of this list. Was actually kinda surprised. Granted, they're completely right about both games being actually very good (Mario 63 especially, dare I say it being one of the best Mario fangames out there) but I'm a bit shocked at how mature everyone here is being about it. That being said... On Mario Combat: IDK why you're saying the camera makes platforming hard to control, considering the platforms are incredibly big and the camera actually kind of makes it easier to see where you're going to land. (...okay I might be sugarcoating it a bit there but still, it ain't that bad) also, the Koopa Troopas actually really don't take that many hits to go down, like even if you're not pulling MVC combos they go down in like 3 punches. I do agree with you on the Bowser fight though, more so in the second half with the near-bullet hell flames Bowser spits out. Super Mario 63: I'm a bit shocked tbh, you're practically the only person I have ever seen to talk trash about Mario 63. Though I'm a bit curious why you think the controls are bad, even back then and still to this day I have never had too much of a problem with the controls. (Having F.L.U.D.D also definitely helps there as well) Also on the bully part, are you sure you're not just bad at the game? Because even as a kid, those bullies were pretty easy to fight. Just spin into them a few times and hope they stay down when they fall into whatever harmful substance lies below. So...yeah, both good games, really shouldn't be the bad list, this comment section is well-behaved. Cheers.

I think Super Mario 63 has great level design, just wonky framerate and controls. Hitboxes are also incredibly wonky. Big Boo's Mansion was such a fucking cool level, along with Rainbow Ride and Lethal Lava Land. Aside from Bob-Omb Battlefield(and maybe Cool Cool Mountain, I don't know which version I like more), I found the level design to be a lot more interesting than the level design in Super Mario 64. I really loved how he used Yoshi's Island sprites for level pieces. It looked great. Though, a lot of the custom sprites could use some...work.

I love SMB Crossover - dont forget about the different level options (SMB Special/Lost Levels).The Contra characters are my favorite. I always use the silver robot from Probotector. I wish I didnt have to play it in a browser thou.

I know that drive-through feeling. I recently left a Taco Cabana drive-through because I couldn't quickly find the menu item I was looking for despite reading over the menu multiple times. I eventually just gave up out of embarrassment. I've also done the same at some places with custom ordering, like a burrito shop. I couldn't decipher the ordering process, so I just left.

That last flash games I beat from beginning to end. The Bowser fight is a bit complicated because you are supposed to actually intentionally let Bowser punch you knock you to the ground and then he tries to stomp you when you're down, you get up and start hitting him. When this Flash game was a lot newer nearly a decade ago there actually was a KZbin video I saw from the creator of The Flash game itself who showed how to play this game.

I've spent an embarrassingly long amount of time playing Crossover. I've beaten it like...20 times or so. The most difficult completion was as Simon Belmont...which is admittedly fitting. Clearing some of the jumps as Simon is pretty nerve wracking.

I actually agree with you that 63 is better than 64. But maybe that's just because I played that way before I knew that 64 existed. It's just way more interesting and the castle was so much more grand and exciting to explore. The story is better and I really like the way you use fludd to platform through the levels.

My senior high school coding class started out with Scratch (as in the program of course). I made a lot of weird stuff on there, but I managed to keep my pngs clean, so I'd like to think my starting projects weren't too bad. Just not something I'll look back and be proud of. The controls may be wonky at some points, but other than that it has pretty good controls. It had so much to offer for just a Flash Game,level editors and etc... Overall, I still think this is one of the best flash games out there to date. Hopefully you can play the game all the way through and see it for what it really is...
