Honestly, The Beths are genius. During the bridge, everyone has a role in the harmonies, it sounds so smooth and delightful. Meanwhile, during the last chorus, you've got the lead vocals, backing harmonies, a countermelody playing on the guitars - so much is going on but it just works SO WELLLLL. I love it all so much 😭 I saw you playing in a tiny pub in Birmingham, UK in May 2019, well before Jump Rope Gazers came out, and the atmosphere was wonderful and you were so humble. When you demoed what is now "Don't Go Away" it was an instant favourite of mine. Love you guys!!

I agree this is the best recording of any of their songs I have heard so far (I tend to like live vs studio recordings). The energy is fantastic, the background vocals are very clear, and I can even clearly hear the bass riffs (which for me tend to be a bit under-mixed). An outstanding performance and video recording!

It's refreshing to see an audience that is (mostly) actually interested in enjoying the music live rather than recording it for posterity or whatever.

Couldn't hit the "order" link fast enough. The Beths are my MVP of pandemic pop.

So talented. So unique. They appear to be four genuinely kind people. Their US tour just concluded and I saw them twice and they were brilliant!!

I want to hear The Beths play this song as fast as they possibly can. Crank up the distortion. Punk Rock.

Apart from loving The Beths as a band, I really dig that bassist Benjamin Sinclair is playing an Ibanez Roadstar II Bass. I have a Roadstar II myself an its an animal of a bass. Other notable players I've seen playing it are Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzy and Mick Quinn of Supergrass.

The full length movie this is drawn from is really wonderful. I nearly lost it when Liz Stokes tears up during River Run Lvl 1 at the end of the show and her partner Jon and the others eventually do as well. Eventually, Liz just loses it entirely (some how she held it together until after the song) and runs into Jon’s arms. So moving. I’m guessing this might have been their first post-COVID show and her reaction channeled what we all felt when we could FINALLY be together again. And, what a crowd! just unbridled joy - my heart aches for when things calm down enough in the USA for our young folks to be that happy and carefree!
