This video goes over when they MIGHT be able to be used as fair use, what conditions you have to meet, how they need to be properly: credited, cited, tagged, and more.
I also show you how you can do, make, etc. what you want LEGALLY and without worrying about a copyright at all like I do by using Public Domain translations! So that you can use the bible verses the way you feel God wants you to within the law.

I know the WEB was created within the last few decades; it was specifically created to be a copyright-free version any website can quote freely.

No it turned into a huge project that's currently in limbo. I developed an encyclopedia type app but it's a long ways off

I know this is an old video I just created this channel 10 minutes ago and my goal was to slowly upload videos of me narrating the entire bible was going to do NKJV since it would be a little easier for some of my friends to follow compared to the KJV which I grew up with. But didn't think to lookup whether or not I could get in legal trouble for doing it. Money isn't the goal but if for some reason I end up making money or whatever I don't want to get in legal issues when I can read the Bible for free. Any advice? Would it be ok to upload videos of me narrating the entire Bible?

I thought a book published before 1926 was in the public domain? I was thinking of doing a prayer/bible study channel but now copyright law makes it seem very complicated. To clarify is the kjv and esv ok to use on KZbin? Thanks 😊

Thanks for taking about this topic. I had someone asked me if I'd consider reading a book on my channel. I've no ubtebtion of reading aoud a reguar book, Christin=an or otherwise. However, I am open to reading a portion of Scripture and I don't mean reference. I'm talking about reading a chapter or two from a Bible translation. My preferred transation is NASB -> Lockman. What's the guideine for this type of endeavor. If not, NASB than what? I also like NKJV.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but 1. all versions are different. I'd just check their site for answers as I can't answer that for you 2. Most usually do require it (even in church use, etc), so I always do to be safe 3. It's helpful to you and those reading it so it's clear and easy to know which version it came from for understanding and comparison, keeping up with which you've used, verse counting for those with 500 limits etc 4. It does give publishers credit Remember, I'm not a lawyer, and all locations laws and publishers are different, so check into what you need to. If you am unsure of the rules, I'm just giving my thoughts on why I would add it if I were using it
