I went to catholic "church school" is what i called it, and that's because i saw it as a second school: boring, pointless, and something i wished was over. When i watch wendigoon's religious videos it instantly reignites my love for religion and reminds me how interesting and amazing it can be. Regarding Judas, I like the theory that he was an accelerationist revolutionary. This states that Judas saw Jesus as King of the Jews, who had come to free them from the Romans, and literally conquer them. There is a pretty cool theory on the pronunciation of YHWH. It is often pronounced as YaHWeH, most likely because us humans seem to have a preference for vowels. However, some scholars and Rabi’s have come to notice that the letters YHWH represent the sounds of breathing. When pronounced without intervening vowels it sounds very similar to breathing. YH (inhale): WH (exhale). This could be the reason that it’s considered unspeakable because it is intended to be breathed instead of spoken. So that would mean from our first breath to our last that we are speaking the name of God. God has also given us breath so that would mean that this is a constant reminder that we are alive because of God. He is our breath of life, our life sustaining power.

Really interesting note on the JHVH or YHWH name of God. I’ve done a lot of research on this because it fascinates me and some of the most prominent Hebrew scholars actually think that this wasn’t an attempt at recording a Hebrew name but the recording of a sound. We’re in a much older writing system called Proto-Hebrew or sometimes called late Phoenician. In that writing system, there actually is a “J” equivalent letter “Iamed” that corresponds to an “I” in modern Ashurit script. It’s shaped like a backwards English “J” which could be used as shorthand when abbreviating this spelling. Similar to the Latin pronunciation, scholars believe it was pronounced closer to a “y” sound than a “J”.

Yeah, that's very true. An interesting rule of thumb is that if a name ends with -el, it is almost guaranteed to be of Hebrew origin and probably comes from the bible. Most of the people who go to church aren’t at all educated on the Bible lol. Majority of all regular churches just consist of local people who want to read the Bible together. Because almost every church basically makes you read what they specifically want you to read, most people just follow what the churches want to talk about. What’s sad is you can go to the same church for years and literally never learn any real history of the Bible or Christianity. Modern church’s are just for reading little verses and talking about it for 2 and half hours. I’ve tried talking about these topics with ministers who claim things like “there’s only one god” and the proven inaccuracies in translation and they literally NEVER KNOW WTF YOURE TALKING ABOUT. They basically shut you down immediately and just say things like “are you sure you’re reading a genuine Bible🤡” or “I think you misinterpreted what you’re trying to discuss” or they simply get an attitude with you as if you’re trolling them… I literally don’t know anyone who has actually been able to talk about these things with church’s publicly. All though there’s thousands of past minsters who have left their church’s because they purposely don’t want to discuss these things. People who used to own their own church’s leaving cause they can’t deal with the blatant manipulation of the Bible. Church’s are really just a shitty ass book club for the most gullible people in the world. No offense to people who just go to learn about positivity and love, just many people jump into religion with no eduction on it and to me it just seems “ special” lol
