Plus the B1G universities generate more money because they take academics more seriously. Most AAU schools generate Billions in research grants yearly. So they don't have to depend on the money then generate from football to fund their university, like many SEC schools do.

Totally agree with you!! I’m a lifetime Big 10 guy. NIL and the portal has leveled the playing field. The days of one conference dominance I think is over.

Its college football. Talent comes and goes, meaning every year will give you a different result. Some years the Big 10 will win it, and some years the SEC will win it. This isn't hard to figure out.

B1G is 4-1 against the SEC in the post season. (B1G USC beat SEC Texas A&M) Ranked Mizzou barely got by unranked B1G Iowa by 3. If Ohio State beats Texas it will be 5-1.

Let's not make it out like those crap programs in the SEC are carrying the same banner. It was Alabama and Uga consistently stomping those other SEC teams. Throw in a blip for LSU and those other programs aren't sniffing a conference championship or making the old CFP. Now, the ones that made it are one-and-done despite every SEC team being favored in the CFP and other bowls.

That’s partially true. But 6 different teams from sec have won nattys in last 25 years. Texas and Oklahoma would be 8 teams. Big 10 has 2 teams over same time period. USC would be their 3rd.

We heard the same thing about the end of the SEC’s reign in 2014; SEC teams disappointed in bowls that year, Ohio State won the Natty. And FSU had won the year before. The SEC will be fine. B10 fans need some hope to cling to given they win only 1 title a decade on average

It was Nebraska, Norte Dame, Florida St, Ohio St, Michigan, Penn St, Texas, USC, Miami, Oklahoma, hell Colorado and Georgia Tech got in the fun too. SEC will always be the teams that other conferences want to beat. Florida State, Miami, Virginia Tech joined the ACC and the ACC drug them down with mediocre football teams. Whereas the SEC football conference only improves a team when they play a non conference football team. Love ACC basketball but they have a weak football conference. Clemson was good before they joined and they have up and down seasons but Florida State and Miami have never returned to dominate like they once did. SEC is always getting better

Funny he never mentions Texas like they are not now in the SEC. Two years in a row in final 4. OU will be coming back in top 10 soon I’m sure. Ohio State most of the year was just meh but they have gotten hot (scorching hot) at the right time. Just like Arizona State (kinda but ASU nowhere near the base level of OSU - I know) but ASU got super hot end of season. Watch ASU next season will be 6-6 or 7-5 maybe.

This is such a fake narrative to keep fans of other conferences from realizing how bad things really are. The sec is by far the best conference. 60% of the top 300 players go to the sec every year and the big 10 gets about 21%. College football is the sec, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Oregon. Penn State still haven't won a big game. The same lie was used against the sec 20 years ago when Texas or USC would win the title as if that has anything to do with which conference is better. The big 10 had 2 elite teams and a decent Penn State team. In other words exactly the same as the last few years. Indiana would have lost 6-7 games playing ole miss or Georgias schedule. I think this narrative is being used to distract from the fact that the portal and nil has lowered the level of play across college football for 3 years now. That's what's really happening.

Follow the money always. The Big Ten conference is now a coast to coast conference with all of the biggest TV markets. More TV exposure means more ad/NIL money being available. The Big Ten is on every TV network during the regular season . ESPN is in bed with the SEC and are losing money. The best players are going to go where the NIL money is and the most exposure gets players to be high draft picks. The Big Ten conference is stronger and is going to get even stronger. Too heavy? OSU, PSU, Oregon, Michigan and there are teams that are historically great teams, MSU, USC, Washington and there are other teams that have good years Iowa, Wisconsin. The top of the SEC is what Texas and Georgia? The two that the SEC was begging to get in the playoff lost to a 7-5 Michigan that half the roster sat out and South Carolina got beat by Illinois. The SEC is done and not coming back.
