Hi there Tommy and good to see Viktor too . What a shame, I was really looking forward to sitting in front of the Angelfish tank , but with covid , the whole gallery will have probably changed ,by the time I get to visit, but understandable, you have to move forward. Very interesting with the iron wood and lava rock. Looking good though. A strong hardscape , I love it.The planting is going to be very interesting. As always thank you both

Was great to see you on the screen again Viktor! Nice scape with a strong impact. For me, this scape represents the classics. I would definitely use some (a lot) Trident as its flow and leaf shapes would emphasize the flow of the hardscape. I'd add some Montecarlo towards the front and switch it to HC in the back. with that increasing the sense of depth. Adding these carpeting plants on the wood could visually highlight some "lines" in the scape that define it, with that increasing the sense of flow. Also, I'd trim them so they grow down in a few places (like "indák" 😅), breaking the sideways flow a bit with some vertical details. Maybe a bit of Riccardi moss in some patches here and there and I'd boost the bottom of the hardscape with some Anubias variations. Again, bigger leaf ones in the front and smaller ones towards the back. I would definitely not use any harsh reads in this scape, one thing I would maybe consider is some bucephalandra with a brownish tint as that would fit the wood well. Overall I think it I such a strong hardscape, that I would absolutely keep plant use to the minimum. I think simplicity on plants would be the strength of this scape. Good work Viktor and Tomi 💪

this scape just screams a perfect place for crustaceans imo. CPO orange dwarf crayfish or tons of caridina shrimp would be amazing for it

Hi guys. Yeah! I'm planning to do something like that, a tank with only epiphyte plants. To me, it's been more difficult to work with active soil, so that's why this time I won't use it. Loved the cinematic, was very nice to see this from 0 to 100! - You mention the iron wood can heavily discolor the water and that you use purigen for this. I'm setting up 90p with a significant amount of red moor wood which I understand can do the same (but maybe not as much) At green aqua, do you guys pre-soak this wood in order to leech out the tannins, or do you just use purigen to power through?

I think this is one of the wirst scapes Green Aqua Made at the Moment Maybe it gets better with plants. What i dont like: - very dens hardscape ar bouth sides - the roots dont look like one piec, but like many independent ones which looks strange - the Black Lava stone and the Wood do not match that good -> i Hope the plants will Cover all transitions so the Wood looks more natural and the stone is more hidden. What do you think Green Aqua? Am i right or is it just my own preferenc to perfection?
@GreenAquaShop3 жыл бұрын
Well in the majority of the top layout the hardscape is weaker and the planting adds the finishing touch to the layout, or the hardscape is excellent, but its get weakened by the planting. We believe the planting will adds a little to the overall impression at the end and once the plant develop in 2-3 months or so, the layout will be a spectacular piece in the showroom.
