Pure class. I consume a lot of rugby content but this is a genuinely different perspective on things. Having current players speaking earnestly and openly, giving a decent level of insight, experience and perspective without being tribal is fascinating. All too often the same cliches are just rolled out year on year with much bluster but with little substance, leaving the viewer blind to the nuances of the game. Really looking forward to seeing the Autumn International's analysis. Keep it up lads

With absolutely no disrespect towards England, they've got NZ, Australia and South Africa in a row, week on week. No international team currently would win all three those games in a row. If you gave the exact fixture list to South Africa (swopping out the third game for England or Ireland) I don't think the Boks win all three either. Don’t fall for the Irish pitfall; Underestimate NZ at your own peril. England should have beaten them in both games in NZ considering it was NZ’s first two games of the season with a new coach and NZ’s most inexperienced test side of the year. NZ are tracking a lot better now and only just lost to SA in SA in both games. Should be epic.

I think England will do pretty well this Autumn. Although we might not have many potential Lions, we don’t have many weaknesses either. What’s more, our many non-Lions are actually very close to that level. I actually have us as favourites for the NZ game and - all being well with injuries - I think we’ll be ahead of Italy (who are good), Wales (who need Gats to go) and Scotland (just) in the 6N, despite Scotland having quite a few potential Lions.

Farrell is in a similar position to Rassie he can start one and have one on the bench depending on who the opposition are .
