His math actually works out correctly. Its hard to explain about how the graph would look like, since I can't show you one, but it works out. Let the y-axis be Penny's age, and the x-axis the amount of men (it doesn't matter how you place the numbers. You can make it go up by 10 --> 10,20,30..etc) then you will get a as light bell curve as Penny got older and the number of men increased constantly. It might be hard for you to picture the graph, so you might want to draw it out.

If it's the former Penny wouldn't need to be 34 years old, because then the bell curve would require a lower age than the flat curve.
