I stand by my statement though, especially when I see the uneven and plain AWFUL character and evolution of Sheldon Cooper, the way they changed many characters (Bernadette, Raj, Howard, Stuart to name a few), the fact that Sheldon and Amy won a freaking Nobel Prize (come on…) etc. The only one who stayed true to herself as a character (though marginalized, like Leonard), was Penny and at the last moment they even gave her the pregnancy plot, because American sitcom. How dare she doesn’t want children? Sigh..

@Diapontios Arguments for & against character change in this show have been made ad nauseum on YT comments (including by me), so I'll just let that dog lie. As for the Nobel, I have no problem believing they won. They were both brilliant scientists & Sheldon a truly Einstein-level genius. His entire career was built around scientific breakthroughs in theoretical physics with a goal of one day winning a Nobel. Without getting into a political debate, I will say I find it much more difficult to accept the reality of someone like Al Gore winning (or Obama before he even did anything to earn one) than the fictional premise of people like Sheldon & Amy garnering such recognition.
