Sir, I wanna apologise for my late viewing. I've been away from building decks for about 4 years due too when I moved to San Antonio Texas. My ambitions were too, for my first time in life, were to be self employed. Thing is, it only lasted for about 2 years. I definitely tried, but beings I was new in city, as I predicted, lack of a dependable crew was my downfall. My creative ability is there, yet my drive took a hit. It's not that I gave up, even if I kind of did, but I'm glad that I came across you. Even though I wish that I could be doing what I really been wanting to do, is build. I'm just glad I get to see you doing well. I get to see you doing what I enjoy also, so it makes me happy. Today's my first day seeing your channel, so I'm glad to say I'm a subscriber. Which you definitely deserve. You at least explain everything in detail. I enjoyed seeing your clip in which you showed programming og blueprints. It's one thing I always wanted too try. But if anything, keep it up bro. At least keep doing it for me. Glad your doing well. Thank you for giving me a smile. Thanks

Love getting to the jobsite early by “accident” and getting a head start on these videos. Love getting new ideas from these decks to do on my own decks, keep up the good work fellas!

Damn I wished I worked with you Dr. The guy I'm working with would have a mental breakdown if he built that, then needed to change it for the service boxes. Love the level head. Love the way the work environment looks there.

Hi Dr Decks, Love your work. Comment: Would love to see a 'Floating Stairs' design in one of your videos, unless it may be against the 'code'? Thank you!

How do put together miter joints on your stair tread boarders? Is the joint reinforced?

Great video, What are the orange spacers used? Are those a common tool that can be purchased on/at Amazon or a big box?

Great video as always. Question I’m laying azek landmark with a double picture frame and what gap do you use for the inlay boards that butt perpendicular to you picture frame. Azek says if you screw them down you can butt them right up to the picture frame. I was going to go 3/16 which is the same gap as between the picture frame boards. I’m using hidden fasteners for the inlay boards and those are gapped 3/16 th as well Thank you

What’s your opinion of the camo system? I used both camo and cortex screw system on a deck I just built and felt the cortex was more secure/solid. Your videos are great! Thanks for sharing!

I agree. Face screwing is always the best option for stability

My span between screwpiles is only fifteen feet. Three pressure treated two by twelves like staggered and glued together or bridged I think they call it would work fine right

Love your work, you guys are great, but ya have to stop calling verticals level, it’s called being plumb, not level. It’s drives me nuts every time one of you say it. Stay safe, have a well deserved vacation. Remember, “PLUMBs the word” 😎
