The Big Dig: An Up-Close Look at Destination: Grand’s Foundation Work

Work is well underway at the site of our Detroit hospital expansion-and while you can likely hear it, you might not be able to see it. That’s because construction crews are digging 150 feet below ground as they install dozens of caissons, which will serve as the foundation for our new 1.2 million-square-foot hospital facility!
