These are longer rods better suited for swing swimbaits. hybrid killer is using a TFO swimbait rod

@@tnewt7116 Thanks! I got you. When I saw that hill along the river, I knew something wasn’t right. 😄 That’s some nice water in Oklahoma. I’m from Chicago and you don’t see anything like that in N. Illinois All muddy. Have to drive up to Wisc. These guys ( owo) are spoiled with good fishing. I am so jealous and wish I could fish on water like that. The spinners and floating Rapalas they were using just don’t work that well in N Illinois. ( maybe something wrong with the water? Chemicals ?). But you have to use live bait to catch fish successfully here. In my opinion. It ain’t like on tv. Not like on In Fisherman, Bill Dance, or Roland Martin. No sir ! Not like on tv , or on KZbin.

@@JohnDoe-jc3cl yeah this is an awesome river to fish in Oklahoma very clear. The upper Illinois feeds into tenkiller lake which is clear enough to scuba dive. The lower is also super clear and very cold. stocked with trout year round. Also has state record stripped bass.

And release them. 🤪 They fish carp because they’re the primary fish in the water system. They cradle them and release them 😜 Carp hatch 1 million eggs. Large mouth only 10,000.
