I've got the most effective method of staying out of the anchor rope. I use it often. Getting skunked works every time.😞
@davehendricks48244 жыл бұрын
Mark Bell you too? Last week I fished for 7 hours caught one 3 lb channel. The spring was broke on my baskets cover and a boat came by, knocked over my basket sitting in shallow water and I watched it swim away. When I left, I had 3 empty hooks. No bait. Maybe for hours. Now that’s a skunk!

Nice to see I’m not the only one with that method. Works very good

Catching big flatheads trot lining with my Grandpa as a kid was always so special. I know what it's like to land a flathead this size in a regular boat. To do it in a kayak AND stand up when you land it, is VERY impressive! Thanks for sharing!
@keithcarter40864 жыл бұрын
I think that fish had both baits in his mouth. and he was half wore down when the first hook let loose. The time it took for you to realize he was gone was about perfect for him to get back to bottom and tighten the second pole back up. Guess we will never know for sure. Great video!!!

Hey justin i think u said something in video that reveals both poles= 1 fish u said u was glad it came untangled from the pole u caught fish on...and heres my thought the one u lost him on he never had in his mouth but was tangled or perhaps tail hooked which could explain fresh blood on his and y he felt bigger so when u lost him it actually just unhooked the tail end and still had him hooked in the mouth on the one u actually caught him on which would exsplain the pole instantly getting taken the second u lost him other pole
