Yeah, I noticed it too, but she is just so happy and proud of it, I didn’t want to mention it Anyone know how long she’s been flying? She knows her stuff, and is super safe while checking, repeating two and even 3 times…Id go up with her in a second!! I worked for a commercial airline when I was young and saw some funky stuff while flying jumpseat…as well as being on the ground Haven’t been in a commercial craft for 42yrs, and I imagine (or hope) the rules are stricter today🤔 But I would never hesitate going up in any (flight worthy) single engine airplane, ever!!

I enjoyed watching the transformation of your Cessna 140. It is a beautiful airplane! One of the reasons that I was so interested in your video is that when I was a small boy my Dad was a member of a local flying club that owned two of these 140’s. He did his pilots training in them and one of them had the same color scheme as yours ,same stripes and tired red. This was in the early 60’s my Dad passed in 2021 and I am 69 years old now. I have a lot of great memories of flying with my Dad. Thanks for posting!

Yeah, it’s either the seal or the door being barely warped from 70+ years of use. Either way, door was latched and the airplane was airworthy. Might improve wind noise a minuscule amount but it doesn’t bother me too much!
