Early morning workouts (heavy liftings) are my absolute favorite. Little wonder I'd been making so little progress in flexibility. Thanks for the tips!

@@secretstar8830 I was 23 and in three months morning to night literally 2am to 2pm I had no job and I was going through depression so I just focused on yoga and I ate only veggies and fruits cut off all junk food to the point chips and cake were discussing and fruits had so much flavor my twin wasn't a contortionist she would hide junk food thinking I would take it but I was sooo aligned n healthy junk food turned me off it was gross I became so flexy and it felt so gooddddddd I actually am not a contortionist now bc I had surgery couple years ago so I'm going back into it again it will be easy for me

Wow, you're amazing! I appreciate your time in responding to me. I have been stretching for 3 months now and have made great progress. I can now touch the ground, do a better back bridge, and touch my head to my knees when sitting down. However, I'm unable to do the front split because I'm afraid of getting injured if I overstretch. Currently, I only stretch at night for 40 minutes. Should I increase it to 1 hour or more?🙏❤️

Is it bad if I stretch same muscle group daily? I've been stretching my legs for 47 days straight to get faster results
@stretchandtrain
@stretchandtrain 3 жыл бұрын
It will unfortunately slow down your progress. It is like lifting weights. Rest is just important as the workout. Try to stretch your legs 3-4 times a week rather then everyday and you should notice faster progress. ☺️

In how many months by doing stretching we can get flexibility?
@stretchandtrain
@stretchandtrain 3 жыл бұрын
You should notice a difference even after only a few week. However, getting splits or backbends really depends on many things such as your work and other training, diet, stress levels and hugely on you anatomy. However, everything is possible!

Thank you for these great tips! Is it possible to strength train with just less heavy weights? I do basic weight training e.g lateral raises, Arnold press etc with 6kg dumbbells right now and do squats with a 12kg kettlebell, also leg extensions to improve my quad strength with 30 kg. I don't deadlift or anything yet, so I think it's probably fine to carry on strength training while also training for my front splits? Thanks! 💯

yes it can be if you are going to stretch shoulders, but I would recommend doing some more active flexibility for your back or legs if you will be stretching them :)

I’ve been stretching 3-5 days a week, 30-45 mins per session, for 6 months now. After a couple weeks I was exited to see some progress, but now after six months I haven’t progressed from there at all! I’ve been doing taekwondo for 8 years and only have a 90 degree split which is so embarrassing. I drink plenty of water and walk outside everyday. What am I doing wrong?
